My family adopted a cat from a shelter and the cat 🐈 leukemia.
Gave his leukemia to a kitten.
They both died unfortunately.
I do not recommend adopting a cat with a family history of Lukemia
i would die for pigpen
ОтветитьThe rabbit was like whatever I don't care lol
ОтветитьShe's a proud and concerned parent ❤
Ответитьpigpen is such a sweetheart his new owners are lucky to have him
ОтветитьShe looks like Sarah Silverman.
ОтветитьJackson honey! Great advice, but to much work for most working, multi animal, heath problem ,normal people
ОтветитьI hope his new owners change his name! "Pigpen???" Rocket would be better. He's adorable.
ОтветитьAlso I love the bunnies at back of the picture ❤❤❤
ОтветитьWe took in my little guy after finding him and his littermates at around 4 weeks old. We sadly did not know we had to keep him with his littermates for a few more weeks, so he is very chompy during playtime and bites me randomly. He still does it but he has improved so much! I wish I was more knowledgeable, but we take it day by day.
Ответить"Pigpen had problems with social cues, he scratches a little too easily, he bites a little too easily, he gets a little too overstimulated" me too man. Me too.
ОтветитьOmg I didn’t know a shelter could b like that it’s amazing and a far cry from the ones where I live
Ответить💜
ОтветитьHe'd have a ton of fun on a lead being an adventure cat!
ОтветитьOne of my cats came from a local shelter. He was abandoned at a month old all by himself someone just dropped him off. We got him when he was roughly 3 months old and he is one of the most intelligent, sweet and affectionate cat I've ever met! They claimed he was "agressive" hes just high energy and requires daily playtime to release said energy and he also has another kitty friend to play with! (Our 2nd cat who's a year younger) I noticed he had a hard time at first knowing the difference between a play bite and a bite that can hurt but we took time with him to teach him and understand his needs as well and he now love bites very gently barely actually biting! I love my cats so much and would literally do anything for them. Thank you so much for helping this kitty find a forever home!!!
ОтветитьNow all he needs is a new name
ОтветитьWow, I just live with my T'Pol's biteyness. She doesn't do much harm when she does latch on to my hand. I just treat it like boundries. South of the shoulders is the danger zone. Vigorous play tends to take the bite out of her too.
ОтветитьPoor Pigpen. He finally got what he needed.
ОтветитьPig Pen is adorable. So happy he was adopted. Love these happy endings.
ОтветитьPigpen is so pretty 😍
ОтветитьOne thing that you could try also is saying ow when he bites to hard
ОтветитьAnyone know which season this episode was from?
ОтветитьWhat episode is this?
ОтветитьHe reminds me of my baby girl I adopted. I worked hard to gain her trust and sadly had to rehome her due to my living situation. She will forever be my reason to adopt again.
ОтветитьThank god I watched this video cause I'm adopting a 12 week old kitten from my clinic in 2 days and he's been staying in a cage for the past 4 weeks cause we think he might have and have been testing him for fiv. Since I dont have any pets right now so he's perfect for me. I already plan on walking him and I already have a clicker for him
ОтветитьI want the Fab Five to come give her a makeover because she and thee animals deserve it
ОтветитьI have a cat with the same problems, we found him as an only child with his sister dead before their first week of life. He only knew play and when you tried to pet him he goes to bite or play with your hand. I play with him everyday and he just has infinite energy: we play, he runs nonstop, he catches the prey and then he brings me the toy and leaves it under my desk so we can keep playing. All. Day. Long. He will bring his toy again every time we stop playing and will meow and eat out of boredom.
We tried finding him a forever home but the person who adopted him ended up returning him because his apartment didn't let him install cat protection on his balcony. He's like 8 months old and we still need to find him a forever home. Now he sometimes approaches for pets and likes scratches and pets, but he's definetly 90% play and 10% affection at his age.
Pigpen is so beautiful
ОтветитьI wonder how life is for Pigpen now? Any updates?
ОтветитьTwo of my cats all so died from panleukopenia and the last one ended like that too
ОтветитьShe looks like Sarah Silverman
ОтветитьI love your work. I am from Austria in Europe - and it is really strange to see those cages for cats... Here it is no longer allowed to hold them in cages in shelters. They have rooms now one for a few cats, so they have more space, with toys and such. And the people working there really try to play with the cats and try all they can to prepare them for their new home.
ОтветитьChristi is such a great person. She really cares about her cats!
ОтветитьWell, jackson means that shelter woman should play with each and every cat in shelter and do nothing else, way to go jacky
ОтветитьThis cat has Autism and I love him
ОтветитьAwwww ❤️
ОтветитьHe loved Mr. Jackson he'd be good with men probably
ОтветитьThis is wonderful! One of my cat boys, Henry, is a panleuk survivor - all four of his siblings died, despite heroic efforts to treat and save them. Henry survived and is healthy - he's tiny and a little wobbly, but other than that, he's a talkative little ball of energy.
All the best to Pigpen and Christi!
I got my kitten at 3 weeks old her mama abandoned her and I had to bottle feed her. My dog (who has since passed away) taught her right from wrong he was like her dad/mom
ОтветитьHhhhhhh
ОтветитьI love this channel 💕
ОтветитьGod I have the same problem with my one year old! Their mother killed his siblings when his was about one month old and I couldn’t resist, he’s not aggressive but he’s always chewing my hands and sucking my fingers!!! What can I do??? Where can I find the whole video?????
Ответитьthis woman is the main character i’m telling you
ОтветитьNever give a negative name to an animal. Most people's behavior is subconscious, especially in children. Animals whose names have negative associations will be mistreated.
ОтветитьWho named the kitty pigpen?
It's a negative name
Pigpen WTF poor cat he needs a better name
ОтветитьPigpen WTF poor cat he needs a better name
ОтветитьDid anyone else feel he suited being with Jackson. He knew him already, and they both felt so immediately comfortable.
ОтветитьThat woman is so sweet. She also looks as exhausted and over-worked as anyone working in an ER. XD
ОтветитьDid she say "adoption material" ? What an ugly phrase!
