How are you getting Mac connection with it being closed?

Dope set up! I just got mine setup with 2 macs, but only using one HD60 S+ — I use my speakers and route my headphone audio to that HD60 S+ to get the audio.

I literally bought 2 of these capture cards and another hub after watching this and I can’t get it to work. Can you please do a follow up video with step by step setup?

Small tip, you can use 3, 4 outputs to connect to the capture card. You just need to set ALT COUNT eq 1 in UAD Console Settings on HARDWARE tab. After you can switch between monitors and alternative output by a push of a button on top of Apollo. No more switching cables!!

Wait...L.Dre, why wouldn't you keep your monitors plugged in if you wanted to be able to use those on stream, and then connect the cable you're currently pluggin into your monitors, to the outs on the apollo while keeping the other end connected to your second HD60S+? Then when you're playing sound out the monitors you can just mute your SM7B mic, and everything running through the apollo still shows up on stream.

What’s your thoughts on the M1 chip? I’m in need of a new Mac.. but people keep saying ableton isn’t up to date with the new chip and causing all sorts of issues. Is it a bad choice to get a Mac with the M1 chip when my primary DAW is ableton?

correct me if im wrong, but seems like youre able to run your 16" mac with the screen shut/closed? That doesn't turn off the macbook when it's closed like that?

Bro you know you could have connected both macs via Ethernet using thunderbolt to Ethernet ports would have been a lot cheaper

Nice expansion.. I'm a fan of not having one system doing everything.

I'd also suggest you get an Atem Mini, basically a video switcher that allows you to switch between scenes and connect everything to it to make it compact.
