Mitsubishi used to make rally champions 2 decades ago . But not much R&D since then and still holding in terms of reliability and suspension comfort. They need to bring in their expertise and start participate and inovate in tough rallies again
ОтветитьI would have liked to see a Jeep Gladiator in that line up.
ОтветитьI bought a 2007 triton brand new and never let me down, besides never felt necessary to trade it for a new model!!
ОтветитьComo van a poner la Hilux que tiene unos buenos frenos si en la práctica es la que peor frena de todas
ОтветитьI’m thinking about a BT-50
ОтветитьMitsubishi Triton win
Ответитьtest the Raptor!!!!!!! but no diff locks to satrt, so u really test the traction control
ОтветитьI now own a 2020 Triton and very happy with it, comfort, style and drivability are awesome. I’ve installed a idrive and that solves the sluggish starts that turbo diesels have. Watching this puts a smile to my face that the choice I made was right! And I’m a Brissy boy so this test was done in all the 4x4 spots I love!
ОтветитьIn the start u said none would be let down because of the tyres meanwhile putting crappy tyres on the triton
ОтветитьI got a Navara with the 7G ATM , rides so smooth and economicly
Ответитьamazing video and test. It's too bad every mid size truck in australia has the styling of a '99 ford taurus.
ОтветитьI’d like to see this again but the new utes vs their 90 counterparts as stock as you can get them, will be a true show of what’s going on in the evolution of 4x4
ОтветитьTriton owner here, was surprised by the triton beeing top score on the test, did not expect that for sure...
ОтветитьReliability?
ОтветитьAt last... Someone who compares 4wd cars with the same off-road tires... Great video
ОтветитьToyota because it is a Toyota.
ОтветитьAfter 4 trips Never bogged my np300 towing a black series camper trailer on Fraser Island ??
ОтветитьLove my wildtrak 2l but what a crackn comparison and well done Triton
ОтветитьAs a new Hilux owner, I am not dissapointed.
Ответитьmissing toyota @tocomo
Ответить2563
Ответить2563
ОтветитьIll stick to a toyota…thx
ОтветитьNot really a bad car amongst them. If you were given any one of them you would be happy. I had the 3.2 Mazada and LOVED it. Having test drove the Ford, Isuzu, Mitsubishi I thought they were all good in their own way, but the mazda was a drivers car through and through. If I had the Isuzu I would love the butchness of it, the Ford looked great, the Toyota has the high-class badge.
ОтветитьWould love to see the Pro 4X Warrior in your next test!
ОтветитьGreat video by far
ОтветитьGreat video by far
Ответить#1 diesel engines belong in big trucks(kenworth, ect) and I drive truck for a living. #2 after all of this, still glad I bought a rubicon jeep gladiator(lockers front & rear) #3 best move i ever made in life was ditching the Goodyear tires! A recent note 📝: no diesel engine available in 2024 jeeps, not that I think an electric vehicle could possibly be an improvement. Give it 10 years and the slow learners will mabey figure that out.
ОтветитьYay there’s a Holden
ОтветитьTriton💪🏾🔥
ОтветитьWhy didn't we see tuning results for the Nav? Ultimate Diesel have videos showing gains of 30% on both power and torque.
ОтветитьThe laziest scoring system I’ve ever seen… everyone gets a 7 and one or two in each segment get a mark or two higher or lower. The Amarok failed in so many ways and doesn’t even have a low range 4wd option. Triton was mentioned as having a perfect transmission and still got a 9? Why not a 10? I’ve also heard the Amarok has no rear curtain airbags putting anyone in the backseat at risk. I got the sense there was an Amarok fanboy in the results or maybe there was a paid review going on here.
ОтветитьYou boys need some Ram Power Wagons down there. 😉
ОтветитьYou guys really have it out for rangers, why wouldn’t you test the 3.2 for a properly fair comparison
ОтветитьWhy do they keep saying the amarok doesn’t have a low range? 1st gear is the low range and on the road it uses 2nd as it’s first gear doesn’t it?
ОтветитьI don’t understand people that think/call Tritons shit and hate on them. They’re great trucks.
ОтветитьSo definitely i go with VW Amrok. The rest is just lower league.
ОтветитьAmarok got smashed on that bush score because of not having studs where you still balance the wheel on the centre ring and not having a side intake. But others got a free pass because it was easy to fit a multi thousand dollar diff lock, which is way more expensive than a simple snorkel for the VW. Seems a little strange.
ОтветитьNever been stuck in my suby forester 99 I'll give you a run for your money .
ОтветитьI wouldn’t buy a Mazda or a Volkswagen in an inch of my life because they’re just not suited for the Australian terrain and climate especially that Volkswagen, if I had to choose one out of all of them I would 100% go with a Toyota Hilux just because they are so well built and last forever.
ОтветитьThank you for the review, very insightful
ОтветитьThis is the best ute comparison I think I have seen. Excellent guys. Getting hold of brand new utes for this test would have been a test in itself I imagine. I am looking at a ute in the 2020 range and your results are consistent with AutoExpert's view of Triton's value for money. Triton's been on my radar for a while. But, I started looking again at Hilux. Not interested in Ranger. Too expensive for what you get and I know a few people who have had endless issues. Amarok is off the cards for so many reasons. Was almost inclined to look at Navara (after dismissing it) because I know plenty who have one and do not complain. They go soft sand DI regularly. But, I am leaning back towards Triton now for value and reliability. Well done guys keep up the good work. Subscribing now. Cheers.
ОтветитьSeems wrong because the Isuzu diesel is the same as the Chevy diesel
ОтветитьGotta love how people say using triton is gay, then these guys literal professionals in the industry say its the best.
ОтветитьAs one considering buying a pickup am very impressed with these videos
ОтветитьToyota Hilux all the way. Great ute just very light in the back
Ответитьisuzu..mitsubishi.. mazda.. toyota.. all guaranteed peace of mind as far as im concerned !!
ОтветитьI’m curious about how a Tacoma would rate and perform between them.
ОтветитьToyota should of kept the 4litre supercharged trd models..beast of a motor
Ответить
