5,000 thumbs up on this video and I haven't even watched it yet. Galio has been my favorite champ to play so far this season. I love playing tank Galio in the midlane to make midlane assassin's rage. And then when they try to roam for kills cuz they can't kill me, I just use my ult to instantly match their roam and kill them again.

Karthus 1st strike support, insane damage

to be honest I do not feel like the buff helps Galio Support in finding his spot in the meta again since it does not compensate the weaknesses he has in laneing phase. Looking at the WR this imho is rather a developement of tanks creeping back into meta after support item changes and Galio beeing one valid answer into certain engage tank picks like Nautilus. W increase is pretty irrelevant in Teamfights on Galio Support since you most of the time use it at instant to either engage or peal. If you are the first target of attack anyway (this is were the damage reduction would help most tight) - you are probably splitt from your team and that would be a misstake in the first place. The 1 Sec on E is mostly unreconizable. W buffs do not do much since as support you rarely get further then 2 items and scaling is insicnificant with the small numbers. Galio Support kinda died with the remove of flash taunt which gave him an identity of beeing able to direct a lane rather then just beeing reactive (which especially sucks in low elo - when it is way more important to build up difference in laning phase by playing proactive to climb(way more windows to play bolt and proactive)). A Grand Master Supp Main not beeing able to singlehandedly carrie a game in silver elo does not speak for the champion and its state. Dont get me wrong I love the Champion and its kit - Galio was one of my 5 Champs when i first hit Dia (supp only) - but those times are gone - Galio Support remains in a weak spot - placebo buffs - that would be my resumee

Funny thing is I love galio and feel like his kit is really good. All but the one thing they didnt buff... his ult :c It has like a 0% chance to hit with it being so slow

I think you should have greeded more once the lane phase completed. Also I think you would have gotten more value from ludens echo than the belt. Couple of time enemies walked away with just a sliver of health.

Mate you also play galio support like you are doing a solo lane with him. Would have gone tank for this one and make everyone els fed instead of trying to get fed myseld

For 2 years Galio support hasn't been that good. Enchanter meta really ruined his fun but also his play rate mid dropped too. You just didn't transfer well into mid game as galio if you were behind in lane.

galio level1 is highly useful in lane with his W ability. you can suprise stun players that walk in / near the bushes and passive punch them. zone with it.
