What's being done about Madison's accusations.
ОтветитьI need a 60" of that for displaying stocks and other info xD
ОтветитьIf this came with some dedicated GPU that can convert "normal" HDMI color to a e-ink compatible output it would be better
ОтветитьHow about you outright lie about another company and refuse to correct it.
ОтветитьFirst video that I watched since they came back and yet they are still making mistakes that should have been corrected in the video instead of in the comments section that a large portion of their viewers never see... sad.
ОтветитьThis is amazing for programming please showcase this in a programming scenario.
ОтветитьPrices aside, I'd love to have this screen when I needed to type my dissertation—the period during which I just holed up in my room and stare at texts and keep producing more texts, and any videos or doomscrolling were just procrastination.
ОтветитьIf you're going to charger 2000 why not includee everything and make one model?
Ответитьbro, this is just an electric edge a sketch.
ОтветитьUse e-ink for while and you'll feel the difference.
It's way easier on your eyes if you're looking at an illuminated object that scatters light fairly randomly, than looking directly into a fairly coherent light source.
I have no doubt that e-ink will be the future for most offices. If people would know what they're missing, demand would be through the roof. But since they don't, it will take another decade or two.
Ответитьmaybe 5-10 Years later we will have Dasung sRGB + 60 hz + 4k. I hope they doing it longer.
ОтветитьWould it be nice to code on? Only problem is lack of color.. or also I’m wondering if it’ll feel in slow motion.. maybe better as a monitoring/terminal screen?
ОтветитьWhy must it be so expensive :c. I don't want color e-ink monitors, I want cheap e-ink monitors. Absolutely would use one for my main pc.
ОтветитьCan definitely see a use case here for those that read loads of reports/theses/papers for example. Especially if your place is very against printing, I've heard of unis that have very strict printing quotas even for employees. A problem tho would be that everyone is used to making colour images in their reports and articles without ever thinking about brightness and contrast levels
Ответитьthis would be great for reading papers
ОтветитьI guess its good as second monitor for tarkov maps
Ответитьit is <HOW MUCH>???
I am TERRIFIED of what the COLOR one will be priced like
Very cool video
ОтветитьTesti onyx boox mira pro
ОтветитьSomeone had to be first so I do honestly commend Dasung a bit. Is it perfect? No. But is it ok for the price. Also no. BUT is it a big step forward as far as innovations in e-ink displays? ...
Does it exist despite all the above? You bet your sweet ass it does!
I can think of many uses for an e-ink monitor, but it needs a couple of iterations to get good enough, and a significant drop in price. And, of course, a "normal" main monitor.
ОтветитьCan't wait until this tech gets to 60+hz.
This one really should use the software to "Clear" the screen if the image hasn't changed in a user-settable number of frames.
2 grand for a 15hz paperweight... Ya that's a solid pass. Shill me a product worth buying next time.
ОтветитьBruh, I don't think even my room is at least 20ft across, let alone anything from my computer.
ОтветитьTechnology Connections mentioned the lack of E-ink monitors in one of his videos, i wonder what he would think about this
ОтветитьThe funny thing is that this monitor will strain your eyes in the same way as reading the book.
So it is still an issue, but an different issue from LCD displays.
Bitwarden is the best password manager and it's free.
Bad work, guys.
for your next video about this try the color one with the wireless technology
ОтветитьI wish he played crab rave on it
ОтветитьAn e-ink monitor? Could you call it... a paper-view?
Ответить$2000 discord display
ОтветитьI have to share this, i was Browsing 9gag this morning and a post about Hans Zimmer first apperence was in a music video by The Buggles - Video Killed The Radio Star, watched the video and was thinking that was very cool information about Hans Zimmer. Now 12 hours later and watching this video and i heard Linus saying this Video did not Kill The Radio Star, i was baffled. Scarly coincident. I just had to share this experience. Have a great day everybody
ОтветитьHonestly, I'd buy this as a 2nd monitor. For work I need to write a lot of documents, code and read a lot. This is great for that next to my 4K 27" monitor. However... the price really needs to go down 10x. Only about €200 is reasonable if you ask me.
ОтветитьI love E-ink but I'm struggling to see a use case for this
ОтветитьIt would be nice to have a monitor with e-ink monitors attached to it, for text only, like code or chats etc.
ОтветитьFor a CLI only Linux user this could make a lot of sense and save a lot of eye strain
ОтветитьI can't wait for the us market to get some good e-ink cell phones
ОтветитьLol look at the "most replayed" part near the beginning. On top of being the worst employer ever (and being totally chill with s3xuaI h4r4ssm3nt), they are ripping off their sponsor lol
ОтветитьThis is really nice for people who wanna read a lot on their PC and easily get eye strain from the lights, imo
ОтветитьAs cool as this looks, it's very much a novalty feature! Like, e-Ink has it's uses but a computer monitor is not one of them.
ОтветитьIt's an Eink display. Developed to show text.
The entire "review" is graphic in nature. Would be nice to see it in a terminal. If it's any good, I'd love to have this as a secondary display for server stuff.
Get normal mon with amoled and use dark mode end of story
ОтветитьI reused a old e-ink with my Raspberry Pis
after I spend 50$ on a controller I read that my panel only has a lifetime of 5million refreshes. I would be very interested to learn how much this monitor has.
Keeper? I hardly know her!
ОтветитьI always wondered why my kindle paper white refreshed so oddly. I learned something new!
