Hi , Can we access a website using an Elastic IP address directly?

Elastic Ip is used for public facing application whether it is via DNS mapping or via direct API

Secondly static IP required when it needs to be whitelisted by other applications for secure handshake like pg webhook and callback integration

How can we check that associated public IP is dynamic or static. And how can we convert auto assigned into static ip on ec2

as you ask a question reg static ip
it works kind of similar as service nodePort where we mention nodePort manually and every time request comes it will go to that service ka nodeport , it will not take random port every time we create new deployment.
please correct me if iam wrong

Elastic IPs are used so that it could be assigned to the instances as permanent IPs and it could be easily accessible.

whenever we want to stop the server or any maintance we ned to stop it and when we do IP address changes. In that case we can use Elastic IP adress.

2. If Elastic IP is attached to an ec2 instance then no bill will be charged to my account?
