At bricks and mini figs, I was able to get a custom Lego Ninjago Kai figure that came with the old Ninjago mask

I understand why people sell to a BAM but even store credit sounded like a bad deal - I'm only selling when I need to make room and don't really care the value...

I buy them at Bricklink, but I also buy lepin clone figures at times: Hellraiser, a predator or Patrick Bateman...figures which do not exist as Lego version. And lepin clones have even a better printing than Lego.

Do not do this, bricks and mini figs is the equivalent of game stop and this is a employee making some clickbait. eBay determines the market value of used or sealed products

It's not LEGOs it's LEGO. As a collector you should know that. Also trading all these sets for a few minifigures is the worst deal in history.

This store is only around to get Lego to sell online like eBay under a different name of course they sell it at a loss to the other company it’s a scam they scam you out of your Lego at 45-65% and will sell trade at 70-80% there price of which there still getting there 35-55% the long way they sit on it for a while then have many of the same set and then have the other company buy at a loss on the eBay site that is only up for a while anyway doesn’t have to pay taxes at all and now they do it is they rent what ever place is cheapest and a stop mall some place where there is enough upper lower class low middle class that will give there stuff away on a whim just to get different Lego so there rent is like only 3000$ a month which is enough to cover each month while they wait for the money to come back after they have about 60-100k in Lego value to catch enough of the fandom of any theme and they catch all the fools and bored rich people and con them out to there valuable lego someone need to record this company when they give the way to do business and the model break down at the franchisee meeting I bet they have them sign a NDA BEFORE THE BREAK DOWN BUT LOOK INTO IN SOME STATES THERE TAX PAYMENTS I BET THEY DONT PAY MUCH AT ALL

Honestly, that’s a rip off. I almost got ripped off too at that store. I brought in like 10 sealed Harry Potter sets. (Retired btw) and they wanted to give me like $120… 😂
