Excellent vid. Thank you
ОтветитьI've always heard to put the sealant all over the patch/plug first before inserting it into the tire hole I've also seen people not leave the two ends sticking out of the tire just one end... but hell what do I know I'm not tire expert or mechanic😂. But every time I have had to use these plug kits they didn't have directions. My neighbor was nice enough to give me the tools and patch things lol. But I've used these kits without the sealant on my four-wheel and it has held great.( But I don't recommend doing this!!!!!!!!!!!) You want to get the best result and not another flat tire alongside the road as with my four-wheeler i don't drive it far from home anyway! Thank you for the video!!!
Ответитьtheres a very little hole in the side of my tire- considering just glueing it up
ОтветитьCan you do this if it's on the corner of the tire? Not side but corner?
ОтветитьHow long did the repair last? Thanks!
ОтветитьWhat's that hissing sound
ОтветитьThanks so much! The local tire shop wanted $25 to plug my tire.
ОтветитьNot that good of a video dude you leave out the most important parts that you need to show us because you're too busy holding your camera
ОтветитьTool with the ribs is a reemer I belive
ОтветитьAnyone else have a really tough time getting the needle and rubber compound pushed through the tire?
ОтветитьNice video thank you now i have confidence i can use my kit to fix my tire and save me a & 25.00 fix from Town Fair tire!! I think thats the best part is saving money. Thnx for the great video!! 😂
ОтветитьBlessings, John 3:16. Jesus loves you.
ОтветитьWhere is the glue pro?))) Oh my...
ОтветитьWatched the HOLE video
ОтветитьFirst time user. Small hole and hard to fill with tool (no glue). I'm uncertain about the quality of the job. Should I pull the plug and try again before using the car?
ОтветитьThank you 😊
Ответитьvideo failed to show the installation of plug?
ОтветитьVery detailed, quick to the point, no annoying music or lengthly unnecessary chatter.
ОтветитьThe sealant is rubber cement.
ОтветитьI just kept the tire on and patched it no problem.
ОтветитьU need new tire😢
ОтветитьLOL never work that way for me.
Ответитьlol, skipped the important part. Worthless video
ОтветитьP l u g not p a t c h. Come on, man.😂
ОтветитьWhat the fudge! I feel so dam weak I’m having such a hard time making the hole
ОтветитьGood way for a plug to blow out without twisting to get a bulge on the inside then you pull it out this way it's a lot easier for that plug to come right back out people watch out for the wrong advice
ОтветитьNature kinda made it seem like it was hissing lol , thank you brother for taking the time to show us and for creating a video . Can’t go wrong, though my tire is still on the car!!
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьCould have been a good video. Get a camera or someone to operate the camera.
ОтветитьGreat video for plugging a tire but i will say if a nail is close to the sidewall i recommend a new tire bc the tire constantly compresses and decompress while in motion and the sidewalls will flex and the plug will have a leak eventually
ОтветитьWhat an idiot@@
ОтветитьIt’s a round file and it’s used to make the hole perfectly round for the plug to seal properly.
ОтветитьSaved me to buy a frigging ridiculous expensive tire....Thanks...!!!!
ОтветитьI scanned the comments hoping to not be repetitive.
I would think maybe one poke with the reamer. You can get a flat with a nail or a drywall screw that won’t necessarily hurt your cording. Personally, I use and awl.
I have never broken a plug yet shoving it into a tight hole :-)
thank you
ОтветитьThanks for the tech tips.
ОтветитьI tried before this video and failed, after the video it took 10 seconds and worked 🙏🏿
Ответитьyou might want to revise not cutting several times I had attempted to leave it, and it pulled out as it was parked on a hot cement road the debris attached itself to the cement because of the heat and pulled the plug out. Use a razor blade and cut it flush is the best result.
ОтветитьThank uuu😩
ОтветитьJust got this done at a local shop for $7 and wanted to see if this is actually how it’s done because it’s not something I’d expect lol. Appreciate the video I think I’ll just do it myself next time.
ОтветитьGet someone to hold camera for you
ОтветитьAudio a little hard to hear
ОтветитьThank you. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong, the instructions seemed so simple and I have watched the guys at the shop do it a dozen times.
I gotta get a better kit. Thats my issue.
The big needle in the kit I was given didnt have a split in it, it was a solid loop and couldnt get the plug to stay in. And it had a regualr screwdriver handle, not the T shaped one, so I ended up with a huge blister on my palm trying to twist and push it through. 😂
In Phoenix/July. Mine melted
ОтветитьFor people who don’t know the easiest way to check leaks is soapy water. If it bubbles its still leaking
ОтветитьSet camera down rather than holding. Good video though
ОтветитьMy favorite part was the part with a hole in the tire
