ОтветитьQuestion; I'm a medium tier motion designer, working in Scandinavia. But If I have a good year I land around 70-80k. Do many of you hit above 100k+ ? I feel for that to be "standard" everyone need to pull out some top tier clients and so much luck with winning pitches? aye?
ОтветитьYou guys need to share more of these testimonial videos!
Ответитьthis channel is amazing. thank you for providing business information to animators!
ОтветитьGreat content!
ОтветитьJust put in my recent invoice and have officially reached this goal! Nearly doubled my last years salary, paid off most of my student loans, moved out of a shoebox apartment, all of which I could have never imagined would happen this soon in my freelance career.
ОтветитьI've never been the type to be jealous or secretive about my clients because it's a small world and we give each other work. That's the key to making more money and having clients reach out to you atleast in my case. Virtually 85% of my clients have been from referrals from peers and even other clients actually. Another banger video Motion Hatch!
ОтветитьSo many good tips. Thank you!
ОтветитьSo many great tips, thank you for putting this together! I love the concept of quality over quantity but as a beginner to both motion design and freelancing, is this only possible a bit later down the line?
ОтветитьThis was fantastic - great to hear from these folks.
Something I’d be keen to hear from each of them is what their freelance practice looks like: do they always work from their own studio? Have they ever been a freelancer that locates around to different studios? Are they charging a day rate, or a project fee? And what changes in their practice took them from being a $70k freelancer to a $100k freelancer, for instance.
That was really beneficial video. Thank you Hayley for bringing us such amazing videos :)
ОтветитьGreat tips and video! Favorite tip was focusing on attracting quality projects and clients.
ОтветитьLove it 💥
ОтветитьLove the advice to connect with peers every day! It's so easy to be intimidated by people who do what you do, and seem to be more successful at it. But replacing that fear with an openness to learning is vital (and something I have to constantly remind myself to work on)!
ОтветитьHonored to be part of this… and I would add a tip of “always be learning”… both from the craft side and the business side. I’m on track to make 200k this year, and I’m taking notes on this video. There’s still so much to learn and improve on! And thanks to all of the other folks in this video. Such amazing advice!!
ОтветитьDividing the annual income goal by 12 puts things into an attainable perspective. Trying to visualize the year as a whole is not only unclear, but doesn't give you any way points to measure by. I like this tip!
