This happend to me today in DS1 remastered. Invader just backstabe me, even when standing in front of me and had some weird movmends.

i fought this guy and confronted him about it and he denied he was cheating like bruh
in my case he both bypassed the spawing in animation to quick start on me and canceled rkss mid swing

i played against the same guy, every time i attacked his offhand inventory swapped to cestus and he parried me, he did it 3 times in one fight, on reaction to my attacks with a cgs
