Miles's Leap of Faith And Why it's the Best Scene in Any Movie Ever (Into the Spider-Verse)

I've loved this movie for years, but when I rewatched it this summer I realized that the dream I had been holding back on for a decade wasn't one I wanted to put off any more. I didn't know if I was ready, and that line... "You don't, it's a leap of faith" hit me full force. So in my mid-30s, I'm making a leap of my own; became a premed student with the plan to be a practicing doctor in about 10 years. It might not work out, but I realized I'd regret it if I didn't try. I still don't know if I'm ready, but I've made the jump.

Hard to believe a movie motivated me so much, but it's just that damn good.

Now after ATSV, it makes so much sense why miles parkours alot and swings less. After all he wasn't supposed to be Spiderman but instead become the prowler. Mannnnn this franchise IS SUCH A MASTERPIECE.

That scene was insane. I had liked the movie up until then but that scene literally made me tear up and cheer out loud.

I envy you for being able to put what you feel into words. I'm turning 18 in 2 days and am a complete failure, just watched this movie and it made me feel so much. But I just can't help but know for a fact that these feelings of motivation, inspiration and everything in between will fade like every other countless time I got them despite trying to hold on. Maybe I can't be spiderman.
