I just did my test cut on my maker, it was the word cricut but it cut off the test material a fair bit to the right. I'm sure I had the paper the way it said to load it which was the same direction that you loaded yours for the flower. Could there be an issue or is there an option to do another test run?

Hello, when I was syncing my iPad, I clicked on ‘Skip’ for the test cut because I thought we were going to do that after how do I go back to try doing a test cut?

Does the USB that goes into the computer part always have to be connected when you're using it or can it work by Wi-Fi after the setup?

Hello Jennifer thanks for this set up tutorial I followed step by step but because I had downloaded the cricut app before I get the machine it did not give me the option to choose a design it just printed the word”cricut) but also it cut on my mat what did I do wrong?

I just bought a regular cricut maker (NOT cricut maker 3) and all of the instructions are online, and they are for cricut maker 3, and I only got two tiny pieces of cardstock in the box to make my first project which DIDN't work out because ... I had to experiment on my own and I failed. SO here's hoping your video can help me.

Being a mixed media creator producing a wide range of items I purchased a cricut 3 yrs ago so…..super excited to say good bye to endless hours spent making handwritten display signs, tags, cleaning & care into, pricing tags, earring cards etc. etc. I’m never happy with the what results as they never match the quality to compliment my creations😢 after receiving I began the process of learning how to use However,,,, my excitement evaporated after several months of watching video after video trying to understand how to create from app to design what I wanted. I am a lil Tex-NO-challenged granted! Let me say I am “NOT” a quitter it’s generally not in me to give up BUT after a year passed canva videos finally killed me! Sadly after over dosing on frustration and videos my daughter now has my cricut 😢😢 I still have the canva app and have managed to learn some basic skills yet remain overwhelmed each time I attempt a project. My stumbling block has always been and remains one simple huge issue which is that I work on iPad and I promise you 90% of videos made to explain are from computers that “always” appear with different screen choices than my iPad shows!!! It’s madding every time I come so close to getting it…..wait, what, oops I don’t see that part on my pad! This is a more than not reoccurring happenstance that I wish were NOT! If video creators would consider to also include options for iPad users it sure would change my world of abilities. Maybe it’s just me but surly I can’t be the only one out here with this stumbling woe for learning??? Somebody say it ant so!!!!!! Oh well until then a girl can dream someday there will be how to videos crested for iPad users Thank you for sharing your skills and maybe if I watch enough of you I just might ask for my cricut back😂 God bless

Thank you so much for such a easy to follow and detailed guide… it’s my mums birthday in two days and I was just flicking through Google trying to find crafting ideas because she loves it when I make things for her. I think hand made gifts are so much more thoughtful. Whilst I was scrolling through I found the cricut machine. I was intrigued and fascinated by it so Looked for a video showing how it works and what it can do, lucky for me I found you. You’ve just taught me everything I wanted to know about it. I’m so grateful there are lovely humans like you who take the time to help people. Seriously your a fantastic person. I want to get one myself, but at the moment they are too expensive for me. I’m sure there’s a previous model which may be cheaper.. if you or anyone else who have kindly taken the time to read my comment (thanks) know of any other machines that are abit cheaper… I’d be ever so grateful, thank you.

I have the Explore Air 2, I have been cutting 7.5 ml mylar and I run into a lot if issues with it. I have cut many stencils with it. However, I believe I got the wrong machine for this. If I get the Cricut Maker, will it be a better fit for Mylar?

I just got my cricut explore air 2. I have done everything, and when I went to make my first sample cut of the sunflower, I pressed cut, and now, all my computer does is thinking.. says cut in progress, preparing and circle goes around and around. Help!!!

Gotta admit: I hate Cricuit Maker; for years, it's been sitting, unused, in my craft room, where it takes up space I can delegate to things I actually USE. I hate being tied to my computer for every phase of my life -- mail, bills, videos...and now crafting! Our world is being reduced to the size of our computer/cell phone screens. What a sad, pathetic place, peopled by idiots who want you to watch them as they perform/talk about/tell you how they live, or what they think, or what YOU should think! I prefer the old machine with the plug-in cartridges, so that I can thumb my nose at the domination of my world by computers. But I'm also the idiot who bought this machine, so I might as well learn how to use it...even though I prefer my manual die-cutting machine, a metal die, and a handle to turn...<sigh>

I got out from the setup when I was about to print, but I didn't remove the plastic so I had to take off and now it doesn't let me finish the set up 😐

What if your cricut id not cut the whole test cut? What if it was off? What doI do then?

Just opened the Maker3 box and I don't have a sticky cardstock but I do have a Smart Vinyl sheet saying "use during setup to make a sticker." Should I be taking the backing off that piece of vinyl?

I ordered a brand new machine—got sent a very clearly used one, and it will not recognize the fine-point blade for some reason. Anyway to get this thing to work. I'd rather not have to go through a whole return and re-purchase. Help! :(
