Superhuman!
Ответитьso your telling me he crashed and you dont fucking show it on video????
ОтветитьIt's amazing to see how slow this type of bike is in comparison with an aerodynamic bike or velomobile. The current record is well over 1200km in 24h with less power.
ОтветитьBmx??? Lol
ОтветитьWhy didn’t they air condition the room for him? Heat leads to sweating leads to salt crystals leads to saddle discomfort. And heat is just exhausting.
ОтветитьDo they use other data besides laps to track his distance traveled? Some laps he is higher up on the track so he’s technically traveling a further distance on those laps
ОтветитьImagine his stool after he gets back home. Probably came out like apple sauce 😂
ОтветитьI've been hitting the Goggins schedule. It includes 6 hours of biking per day. I'm a couple weeks in, and I'm averaging about 20mph across those hours. Time to ultracycle?
Ответитьyall really dont have anything better to do in the uk do u
ОтветитьRESPECT
Ответитьcrazy i rock a 48chainring 14t cog.....91 gear inches, if i had a 13 tooth cog ide be at 98.5 lmfao . i could do this i think, ive ridden 10 hours with lots of elevation, ,long beach to san diego. more people should try this!!!!!
ОтветитьI've completed PBB1200 once, in 2011 and failed to complete it in 2015. Many hundreds of entrants fail to complete PBP and I would say, from experience, that it's almost never a fitness problem.
It's almost always as a result of extreme discomfort, sitting on a bike for the best part of 80-90 hours.
Parts of your body that never, ever, hurt on "normal" rides can become a ride-ending issue after a while.
With me it's always neck & shoulder pain.
Watching RAAM riders taped to lengths of drainpipe, to support their neck, brings the whole thing back to me.
Then there is the mental torture of having no distractions, just looking at a road surface for hour after hour. That's what PBP night-riding is like. A small patch of illuminated tarmac for hours. It's actually like you aren't moving at all after a while. It's very easy to crash if you lose concentration.
Then of course there's the challenge of putting out 215 Watts constantly, without any break, on a fixed wheel. That's so tough on the knees. I'm amazed he could walk for a few days after.
Sometimes it's good to see a failure. It lets you know how hard this sort of thing is. I was doing so well in 2015. I was on my way back, 700km done, and enjoying the ride. Much easier than 2011. Then , in the space of about 6 hours I'd quit. My neck and back totally fked up. It's tough.
Doing anything at all for 24 hours straight is an achievement, not only that but an atheletic achievement. This is insane
ОтветитьWhat a fantastic effort. Perhaps he should have tried out keto and burned through his fat stores, rather than being a simple sugar burner on those jammy gels? Idea for next rider or second attempt maybe? :D
ОтветитьGGGGGGGGG mine is only 40km
ОтветитьDayem that’s almost a megameter
Ответитьbet i can set the world 72 hour record (since i doubt it's been done before), just as long as they don't drug test
ОтветитьI may be imagining it but I believe I’ve noticed a difference in rolling resistance between hot and cold tarmac so maybe if there was a way to heat the track it might make it possible to go faster
ОтветитьChristoph Strasser did it allready, he has that record since 2021, 1026km in 24h
ОтветитьWhy this suffering fukk the world record
A person could easily injure his heart during this
Oufhl
ОтветитьIt's 2022 has there been any update on this? Did he try again or did someone else do it, please link me I like to know thank you. Safe riding everyone ✌️
ОтветитьComing of at 40k hurts. A lot. Did it myself on tarmac a few years ago and haven't tried a road race since.
Ответить(Can’t try at home)
Ответитьnot me struggling to sit comfortably for 3 hours in class
ОтветитьI cannot even keep riding at that speed for 24 minutes.
ОтветитьI cannot even keep riding at that speed for 24 minutes.
ОтветитьCrazy to think the record is now over 1,000 km
ОтветитьConvinced coffee is the reason for Europeans teeth color
ОтветитьI don't think he helped him in any way asking him how was the crash 😵💫😓😤😤😤
Ответитьsaddle is point down such a great amount! Is there a purpose with it? or is it just for personal reference? No matter what! Making a rider to ride 24 hours straight is too harsh based on my perspectives. Why don't we make a rule for under 12 hours instead!
ОтветитьIt's all a bit depressing really isn't it.
Fair play to the lad for doing it but for me all the tech takes the sporting endeavour out of it.
Talk about stamina..... Jesus
ОтветитьBrutal
ОтветитьGood luck James. Hope you come back stronger soon.
Ответить10 years ago, when I was in my so called "Prime," I did 330 kms in one day. It took me an obscene amount of hours. Less than 24, more than 12.
ОтветитьThere's this guy from Russia who rode 720km in a 24hrs on a fixed gear. You should interview him. MaskaKult.
ОтветитьI used to run in a 280m course for about 14-16km. Absolutely tedious. To run 24h in a velodrome like this is an incredible hard mental challenge.
ОтветитьAverage netherlands citizen
Ответить24 hours non-stop is insane wtf
ОтветитьCycling fast is already tough shit and he did it 24 hours straight for 950 km 💀
ОтветитьHe thought about it, then he tried it and really worked on it...He's already a Record Breaker for me
ОтветитьI don't have a bike so I can't try it
Ответить40 km/h for 24 hours. OMG insane, i can't even hold 35 on my bike.
Ответить24 hrs at 40kph. Insane.
ОтветитьThis man is a fighter 🔥🔥🔥💪🏽we proud
ОтветитьUr watching Cause on YOWAMUSHI PEDAL
