This scene is so satisfying, cause in LOTR galadriel was introduced as someone who's feared/powerful and glad it wasn't just all talk and they were able to make a scene to show how powerful galadriel is

After ROP, this scene hits differently ❤ Shit went down between these two. Or at least it's fun to think it did in the cinematic/tv universe vs. The books. Hate me for liking ROP.

You may think you're a badass but you aren't nearly as bad ass as Elrond and Saruman clinching a 2v9 against what are essentially powerful spiritual entities who don't really die and respawn infinitely.

The battle of the CGI had begun. It looks terrible. As bad as the "force lightning" from star wars, how is it that effects from 20 years ago look BETTER?

This fight is so boring and Absolute WASTE! Why does Saruman only keep spamming Dark Souls Force and doesn't do any cool spells like a Goddamn WIZARD should, like a fire ball or something, I was so disappointed when I saw this, I was expecting epic stuff

Never got the hate for these films.
Were they as good as the original trilogy? Not even close. But still a fun watch

Christopher Lee delivered the most uplifting performance and line in this video alongside Hugo Weaving, before he passed away. Hugo was great, too. Still is. I hope we still get more out of his performing with the LOTR movie franchises for at least a little longer. RIP, Christopher Lee.

It’s incredible to me that even though the Hobbit trilogy was nothing like LOTR, it still managed to bring a banger 3 films, even though it faced impossible competition.

I interpret Galadriel's fear in this scene as fear for Middle Earth. She knows she can defeat them but is in shock and seeing things of the future unfold as they approach her.
