Your tanks are the perfect depth to use Two Little Fishes (expensive) or Eheim Scraper(cheap). I use the Eheim in my 20G and love it. I basically dip my hands in the tank only when adding new corals.
ОтветитьLove your aquarium man, Greeting from Malaysia.
ОтветитьThank you for this video!! Greatly explained :)
ОтветитьLove it! Keep it up
ОтветитьHave you tried borrowing someone's Harlequin shrimp to try to get rid of those starfish? They ONLY eat starfish, so it's not really worth purchasing one since you'd have to constantly supply it pieces of starfish to survive, but if you could rent one or borrow one, they could help get rid of your starfish problem.
ОтветитьNice aquarium :)
ОтветитьThat’s such a beautiful tank! Keep up the good work
ОтветитьJust out of curiosity, are there ways that you can treat natural sea water to kill any bacteria or pests that may be residing there? Or do you just have to dump it in and hope for the best?
ОтветитьI love your low-tech approach. I have TOO much gear running my tank. Definitely thinking about trying your methods!
ОтветитьGreat video! Do you also run a dosing pump for alk/ca/mag?
ОтветитьEu também uso densímetro 😂
Ответитьyour tanks are looking great these days. those clown fish won't leave you alone! they really have some opinions they want to share.
ОтветитьThe tank is looking awesome! :D
ОтветитьMooie routine heb je, tanks zien er goed uit!!!
ОтветитьIf you turn your LEDs all red you may get less hassle from your clowns. Great video
ОтветитьHi Danny
How often do you do,a water change?.
Regards
How do you keep NO3/PO4 level's right? Do you need to use any bottles?
ОтветитьSubscribed! Glad you’re talking more in your videos!
ОтветитьI have to wear gloves as my tomato clown is quite protective of her LTA and actually drew blood. I still love her! 🥰
Ответитьvery inspirational tank! Hope to see more - although I recommend to get a cheapo utility pump to mix your salt my friend!
Ответитьhey man, Seachem sell a handheld algae scraper might make that initial scraping of the glass a bit easier 👍
ОтветитьLove this method!! I’ve been doing it before I came a cross your videos and love it. I technically do have a sump, but the only thing in it is the return pump and a refugium!! I don’t get insane amount of coral growth, but the corals seem to be doing ok!!
Ответитьawesome stuff. Those shoes look like someone does some tre flips every now and then? Keep reefin
ОтветитьNice... How often do you feed your fish
ОтветитьI love the low tech set up! I was wondering what elements do you dose in the tank?
ОтветитьWhat is the lighting of the coral fish tank used in this video? I'm Korean and I'm trying to imitate this fishbowl!
ОтветитьDope
Ответитьwhat sand do you use?
ОтветитьHow deep is this tank? Rly love it
ОтветитьHi mate, Love the reefs and it has inspired me and made me want to start my own. I know this is a rude question, but how much roughly how much did you spend on your setup? Not including coral and fish. Cheers
Ответитьhi can you show what you used to dose in your tank, please
ОтветитьI never knew you can just filter the tank with rock and sand. Im glad i came across your channel you made things so simple for me you really helped me understand the entire process.
ОтветитьWhat are the main things i should test for after i start cycling the tank ? Also, Best test kits ?
Ответитьwhat is that thing you use to check salinity
ОтветитьI am trying the same set up. Since there is no skimmer or filter have you have in oxygen/ph issues? That's the only concerns have. Thank you.
ОтветитьShort and simple..
I never Subscribed to an aquarium channel from one vid..
Until now! 🍀🍻🎈
Its simple people. Small amout of small fish = low food = low nutrients in the water.
ОтветитьWith all the new technology entering the market, people forget how simple a successful reef tank can be. Thank you for reminding all of us.
ОтветитьWhich gravel vacuum is that
ОтветитьSo, all this sump-mania is not necessary and simply for lazy people :D
Thank you!
I will set up my first reef tank your way.
what are the dimensions of the aquarium
ОтветитьWhat else would you like to know about my setups? Feel free to ask! 👀
