Did this get solved?
ОтветитьQuick brush, quick floss, quick brush. Twice a day. Dont overthink it people.
ОтветитьIt seems like flossing should be first to get that meat out then brush where the meat was to clean it all out.
ОтветитьI've always done this routine e:
1. The first thing I do is swish with salt water. ( I dont know why, I just do😂)
2. Secondly , I floss with my WaterPik.
3. Then I brush for at least two minutes.
4. Next I do one last mouth rinse
5. Finally, I give my hubby a big 💋 ❤
Yes that is why I brush before floss too because I don’t want to bring more debris into the gaps.
ОтветитьI use waterpik first, then brush, and I keep floss in front of my computer so that I don't get bored when I'm flossing my teeth with dental floss.
ОтветитьThese people are crazy definitely floss before brush then the toothpaste to get in there... Maybe that's just my thoughts but i also eat tons of meat and sticky carbs so i feel it necessary to allow toothpaste in between my teeth
ОтветитьFloss first because when I floss, I tend to get a lot of saliva dripping down and have to spit out which feels like if I did it after brushing that would defeat the purpose of brushing
ОтветитьThe order doesn't really matter especially if you do both daily.
ОтветитьIf you brush first you’ll have food and plaque on your clean teeth and floating around your mouth when you floss. And if you rinse you’ll be rinsing all the fluoride out your mouth. So floss, rinse, then brush.
ОтветитьSo... Was there an answer?
ОтветитьBrush, don’t spit out toothpaste, then floss with mouth full of foam, then water pick the rest of the way. Messy but I haven’t had any problems and very minimal cleaning for almost 20 years
ОтветитьI’m personally in the floss first camp, but I wasn’t always… I used to follow the more standard brush-then-floss regimen, but after experimenting over the years I found that flossing before brushing delivers better results and ultimately just makes more sense to me, tho I will sometimes do an initial “rough” brush just to clear the surface gunk before flossing with an expanding floss like Dr. Tung’s, and end with brushing. Sometimes I rinse with mouthwash after flossing (but before brushing, so as not to wash off the toothpaste), lol and if I’m really feeling extra (or extra icky 🙊) I’ll cap it all off with a second round of flossing with a finer/more traditional waxed floss 😝🪥🦷🥶
ОтветитьFloss, mouthwash really good around your mouth , then Brush throughly around Your Teeth 🦷
Ответить1 brush
2 floss
3 mouthwash / oil pull
what if im using Waterpik and not floss .
ОтветитьI agree with what the last dentist said. I was told to floss first. It’s definitely the heavy work, then I brush. I feel like my mouth is much fresher and to be honest I’m addicted to flossing now because of that routine. Flossing is a must!!😬
ОтветитьHmm
ОтветитьAnyone else’s brush, floss, brush?
ОтветитьIt makes sense to floss first to remove the debris stuck between ur teeth, then brush off the teeth and other debris that may be left between the teeth. Does that makes sense? Lmao
ОтветитьFloss/waterpik first because it’ll loosen up some of the food that’s in between your teeth. Then brush. Then mouthwash. Do not rinse your mouth with water after you brush!
ОтветитьThis question might be actually older than that one about an egg and a chicken. 😆
ОтветитьI am a procrastinator but I do believe that if you floss and get all the stuff out first then the brush can just take it away with the other scraps. I think if you brush and then floss then you will just dirty your teeth again with the stuff thats stuck between your teeth.
Ответить...then water pic. I forgot about that. Thank you.
ОтветитьIs it okay to floss right away after eating? Thank you, for whoever would reply in my question.
ОтветитьBrush, Floss, then Mouthwash
ОтветитьI've always brushed teeth, then brush tongue, then floss, then brush teeth.... idk I'm odc when cleaning the mouth.
ОтветитьFloss, brush, mouthwash. The reason I floss first is because the gunk in between the teeth and gums contains bacteria and often has an odor and seems silly to bring that into a freshly brushed mouth. Plus, when you break up debris with floss your brush and the toothpaste can get to more of the tooth.
ОтветитьEverybody in that vid: Falsing or Brushing
Me: What about Mouth Wash?
I brush and then floss and then brush again and then interdental brushes and brush again and then rinse with anti cavity mouthwash
ОтветитьRecommendations for all adults, but one should learn how to do it properly...
ОтветитьI know to not brush after eat but can i floss after eat?
ОтветитьWater floss, brush, string floss, antiseptic mouthwash, fluoride mouthwash. Everybody's happy. You're also late for work.
Ответитьwhich came first, the chicken or the egg
ОтветитьI thought you were supposed to floss first to get out the food stuck between your teeth so that when you brush, you wash all the gunk out.
ОтветитьFor me Brush, floss, rinse with water then mouthwash
ОтветитьI loved everyone's answers. Especially Dr. Nemeth's point about procrastination! Such a good channel!
ОтветитьFloss
Waterpik
Mouthwash
Wait 30min-1hr bc of mouthwash
Then brush with toothpaste using electric toothbrush
Scrape tongue
This won the award for least helpful video I've ever seen
ОтветитьI brush first because I feel like brushing removes all of the accesible dirt. That way, you then go ahead and remove the dirt IN BETWEEN the gaps of your teeth without worrying about pushing the dirt farther in (if you did it beforehand).
Ответитьok weird question but i floss like one or two hours before i brush and then brush beofre i sleep but dont eat anything just do work or watch videos ,is this fine?
ОтветитьBrushing before flossing ? That's like Mopping before Sweeping . Common sense : take all that smelly rotten meat out of there, then finish it off by Brushing and sanitizing the Area 🦷. A good mouth wash for good measure would be great too. 👄👍
ОтветитьWay to not actually answer the question…
ОтветитьHere is the CORRECT METHOD... You brush first then floss then use a waterpik with hydrogen peroxide diluted to 1%. Dr. Nemeth would agree. I got your back Doctor!
ОтветитьWhat if you just got rid of all your original teeth and put fake ones in. Then you wouldn't even have to worry about it at all .
ОтветитьSince there’s no correct way I’ll stick to what works for me . Waterpik, brush then string floss.
Ответитьso the correct answer is: no one knows which order!! lol. as long as you do it 😂
