Well. Sitting here in my kitchen at noon. Ive had posts asking what this song was. The word Midnight seemed connected to it.
I got the answers and just listened to Elaine Page singing the words in this video.
Good thing i wasnt in the audience that evening. I would have cried out loud. Using paper towels as tissues at the moment.
Few things move me that powerfully. Thank you for this video. ☺️

Forget the CGI film. Buy this one. This presentation is superb. Not filmed in the original theatre, though the direction and cast have adapted superbly.

Ok, I'm a 51 yr old man and have never cared for plays/musicals, but came across this today. I do understand who Elaine Paige is and she is amazing, but who is the lady singing with her about half way in? Her voice is so crisp and clean, just amazing.

I've never seen Cats, and have just known Barbara's version of this. I see how different the lyrics are here but it's just as powerful a performance as Barbara's if not more so. ❤
