I find this video highly confusing. It starts off by saying management consultants typically are not experienced and do have the skills to analyze companies. Soon after says they are very valuable because they help identify problems in the company that need attention and allow companies to streamline operations. And bring things up in a way where things can get done - because you are working the company from the outside in. You can't have it both ways...? They either know what they are doing are they don't. In terms of working from the outside in. That is double edged itself - if the outside guy gets it wrong the company is destroyed - if he gets it right - there is some pain but overall the company is better. This video is really bad - its taking all sides and not being informative. It is just explaining situations and making opinions randomly. Probably some crap AI generated video because it has no logic to it.
ОтветитьDISAGREE, my father who is semi-retired, consults with several large IT firms helping innovate and integrate, he is well paid for his work and valued for his contributions, which have been substantial. there is no substitute for experience and an outside look can be invaluable.
ОтветитьDepends.
ОтветитьWhy rob a bank? when you can be a CONsultant for a bank?
ОтветитьYou don't need any skills for management consulting lol. Yeah its super easy to get into these companies. Oh wait its one of the hardest jobs to land ever.
ОтветитьConsulting Engineers need Gov't License to practice (PE/PEng/CEng)
Ответитьthis kind of video is what called “washing the floor” in china which is refer to being paid to brain wash people to justify ccps wrong doing to Chinese and the country
ОтветитьAbsolutely right. I have felt this so many times. Yes, the consultants tend to be more disciplined and professional, but rarely felt they can provide more insight than a senior person in the same firm.
ОтветитьIt sounds like a management consultant is just a person who does odd random jobs for wealthy people.
Ответитьin depth video or part 2 would be great !
ОтветитьCapitalism creating bs jobs as per usual
ОтветитьLet’s be honest, down there everyone knows it is a useless profession
ОтветитьAm a Management Consultant not big 4 seems a fit.
ОтветитьYou don't need to be clobbered mate, you're too clueless to be clobbered. You need to understand the importance of asking the right question. The right question is not asked by the people with 2 years of experience... nor by the "experienced" people in the client organization who have their own comfort, agendas and egos to protect.
ОтветитьThis is so cynical, management consulting does add value, especially when devising market strategies in sectors where your company might want to get into. I do agree however that some of the stuff they do is completely redundant/worthless but then it is usually the fault of the company hiring them in the first place. You get what you ask for.
Ответитьconsulting is a big tent.
ОтветитьYou don't know the half of it.
ОтветитьThey are clueless dumbaxxes who never had a job...lol😂
