Thank you!
ОтветитьThank you for this. I was wracking my brain on why it was failing to import via the create cloth(FBXkey). All the other videos I checked were 4+ years old, and always imported via OBJ. After checking all possible avenues (like since I exported for Blender originally, it would have to be Binary, not ASCII) I finally stumble upon your video at 4 am my time and you said what no one else did: FBXkey is useless and breaks import of newly created mesh. Only go for OBJ, and transfer weights. Bugger! Spent so many hours...Like 7 redoing all the sims(So many sims) to CC's A pose since that was the one that ran the FBX key. Turns out it pretty much is just DRM. 🙃 Thank you for showing us this, I'm going to bed and getting it all in there after I get some sleep.
ОтветитьProblem is this solves nothing daz3d has deliberately damaged the FBX export in studio and so exporting out as FBX is pointless as files are trashed
ОтветитьAwesome, thank you.
ОтветитьThank you so much ! I was searching the new way without the fbxkey 🙂
ОтветитьThanks lot dude 👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьWhen i import it, subdivision levels are corrupted and is really low poly...
Ответитьadding DRM to something like this is probably one of the worst anti consumer things they could have done.
ОтветитьWhy don't I have that option when I open the create then accessories, it only has a usd file accept
Ответитьsomebody can help? i have whit skirt in cc
ОтветитьThank you great man, thank you very much !
ОтветитьIve been looking for this solution for months!! Thank you for doing the tutorial.
ОтветитьI have problems with importing FBX FILE in CLO3D- AVATAR HAS NO EYES :OOO
Ответитьwhat if i need to bring in fbx character (without rig) & undergo head exchange through my piplined version of iclone7, can you be kind enough how to do it, tks a lot!!!
ОтветитьIf you're using Blender, and you import your mesh and see nothing, it might just be very, very tiny. Also the FBXkey thing is strange and I don't fully understand the point.
I imported the mesh, used the transfer skin weights option, and everything lined up great... At the very least, their auto-skinning is a godsend.
Thanks for the video!
I have pro version of character creator 3 and installed auto cc setup. I am trying export fbx but it keep crashing on clicking export. Can you help me with this issue?
ОтветитьTransformer is the key around this issue. Just click on "Transformer", you will be able to bring in items into CC3, esp from Daz3d.
ОтветитьQuestion what if you export the character base from character creator as an FBX could you create clothing and then bring it back in using the FBX key the character creator gives you would that solve closing is supposed to flow from sticking to the body
Ответитьthanks
ОтветитьHey, thanks for this but I cannot get it working. Will Reallusion develope another way for adding custom meshes sometime?
ОтветитьWhen importing clothes, there is always a 15% crash. I did this in my previous game, but I cannot achieve this in CC 3.3 and 3dsmax 2019. I've tried all fbx formats I'm about to freak out until 2012-2019 please somebody advise me about this problem.
Ответитьthanks useful - can sometimes over think things!
Ответитьwhat about a character not only cloths? is this also possible? I wonder why reallusion need a drm on the character that just too much.
Ответитьi just wanna hug you, keep making this complex stuff, we really need this
ОтветитьYeh, this really upset me. The entire reason I bought CC was to be able to quickly add my clothing, export it to iClone, animate it and export the animation. The advertising for the work pipeline is disingenuous at minimum. But thanks for the help!
ОтветитьUm yeah, where do I find a tutorial on fbx?
ОтветитьI know my question has nothing to do with this topic but im really trying to figure out where are the key frames for direct puppet to smooth out an animation thanks
ОтветитьBut if you exported it from CC3 as a FBX then you would have a FBX key just like if you made something in Blender
so couldnt you do that same thing with MD Export your Base Character as a FBX Maker ur cloth in MD and export it as a FBX and use the key given BY CC just like you would with blendr ?
The solution I was given was to export the FBX without selecting any item in 3ds Max. It did not work for me
ОтветитьRL will not admit there is a problem with exporting and then trying to import fbx. My FBX files from CC3 will not export from 3ds Max and will not import into Blender. If I export the character in an A pose it imports into Max as a T pose. I sent a ticked about a month ago and they are still not responding. I guess they know there is a bug and the will probably fix it or get rid of the FBX export from CC3.
ОтветитьRL likes the talk the import/export talk, but they don't always walk the walk.
Ответитьsuper
ОтветитьThanks for the advice - your stuff is always great
