Where do you get your hair for them? I've used hair extension-type hair and also more expensive nylon hair. I haven't had great results with either.
Ответитьi wish someone could do this to me
ОтветитьHow do I remove very old pen stains that don't come off with hydrogen peroxide. How do I remove permanent marker stains?
ОтветитьI have this Pony 😃
ОтветитьThe nostalgia this triggers! I had lots of these ponies as a child in the 80s. I remember the smell and everything. Thank you for your kind service in restoring these lovely ponies 😍
Ответитьi love your videos sooo much :,D found a gen 1 pony at my local anime con last weekend and i took her home and cleaned her up!! she's Bowtie :] i hope you're doing well!
ОтветитьI have this pony so I knew how it was suppose to look at the beginning and it was so fun and heartwarming to see it start to look like a real pony again :)
ОтветитьVery melancholy, serious music. This is serious business!
ОтветитьMy aunt has one of the unicorn ones and this one
ОтветитьGood good job ! <3 <3
ОтветитьI love your pony restauration videos 😉
ОтветитьIf toy story was real and toys were alive then you'd have a lot of ponies that are grateful for your dedication
ОтветитьHave you ever used a magic eraser to clean your ponies? I use them all the time and they clean my kids toys to new in 2 seconds flat.
ОтветитьYour videos are so stunning! ♡♡♡ I have binge watched a dozen already and I can't get over how calming and peaceful it is to see these beautiful ponies get restored. You deserve more subscribers! Keep it up! ♡♡♡
ОтветитьReally enjoyed watching this video! I loved how clear and well lit everything was! No camera shakes, no fuzzy images in and out, no distracting stuff on the desk/table. Thank you!
I have a couple of tips for you that I wanted to share if I may. I discovered a really good cleaner with either plain baking soda and water OR, for a cleaner that will stick while you work it, use baking soda with liquid dish soap and work it into a paste/cream. Then after, when things are this dirty, I go straight in with acetone (taking care around the painted parts though). And I would use a cotton ball to cover more area faster. I only ever knew hydrogen peroxide to help with yellowing. Do you have good results with HP and the UV lights? Also, along with what the other posters here have noted, dunking the hair in hot water (just before boiling temp) with the hair set in braids (if wanted kinky) or rods (if wanted curly) and letting it sit for 10-15 minutes and then putting it in a baggie and placing in the freezer for about 10-15 mins, then air dry works wonders for saran, nylon, and the like. The style will stay in place - as long as the item is not in a humid location. Lastly, using a flathead screwdriver to run along the area where the hair plugs are will be much faster (and easier!) than using the small pliers. Then, when all the hair is out of the hair shafts, that's when I use my needlenose pliers to pull out the hair bits.
Hope that info helps you on your next restoration! ^_^ <3
Your pony restoration videos are addictive! I like Blossom's grey-with-subtle-lilac coat colour. It makes me feel happy to see the toys I always wanted as a kid get treated with love and care.
The ambient sounds are nice.
I had this pony as a kid. She made a fine mount for all the "knight" action figures we had. Sure, they were all Ghostbusters, Wolverine and She-Ra but the moment they were in the saddle, they were knights.
ОтветитьI had Blossom... Thank you for helping her
ОтветитьLove the calming cleaning effect in this video! The hair was a beautiful shade of purple!!! 🥰
ОтветитьIt's so weird one of my clearest memory of my little ponies, is how they smelled when they were new.
ОтветитьVery pretty ❤ 😍 👏👍
ОтветитьI had her was my favorite
ОтветитьI love the purple hair where did u get it
ОтветитьNice result ! 💕😊🦄 It's nice ti see how you bring them back to life .. 💕👏👏👏👏🦄🦄🦄 I follow you with pleasure, keep it up ! Brava 👏👏👏💕👍😊 Love from Italy 🇮🇹
ОтветитьI'm really glad I found your channel! It's really comfy to watch these toys be brought back to life!
Ответитьnooo, I reached the end of the playlist, I love these videos so much.
You're doing an amazing job!
What a great restoration! Blossom is such a cute pony too. She looks brand new!
ОтветитьThis pony was white ?!
ОтветитьFabulous as always 🥰
ОтветитьBlossom was my first ever MLP, I loved getting to see one get restored 😻
ОтветитьAww little Blossom I have a Blossom with no tail and I think mine is discoloured and I’m planning on making them into the Duchess from Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland 🥰 can’t wait to get round to it!
So satisfying seeing this little pony being brought to life again aww
I am curious, when you rehair doll/ pony and then secure hair with glue, if that is strong enought for children to play. You know, comb hair, braid it, or if it is just for adults to put somewhere and dont touch it anymore .
ОтветитьCan we get a collection tour
ОтветитьI’d like to see you have a go at one of the fluffy ones, I think I saw one on Etsy lmao would be vv interesting
ОтветитьI just stumbled across your videos and I must say I love your work! The ponies always come out looking much better! I love how you show us the process- it makes me want to try haha! Great videos!
ОтветитьThis would be some amazing ASMR without the music!
ОтветитьA very lovely pony
ОтветитьHello Comment s'appelle le pic qui permet de transplanter les cheveux svp?
ОтветитьVery good work as always!
ОтветитьI guess you couldn’t get those yellow marks on her ears and neck off, huh?
Still, great job!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love how all pony restorations are like:
Step 1: Decapitate the horse.
Wow; these videos really make me want to go hunting for sone old ponies to fix up!
ОтветитьPlease don’t stop making these they’re my guilty pleasure ☺️ Do you think you would ever try re-flocking a so soft pony?
ОтветитьCOOI! ʕ ᵔᴥᵔ ʔ (o^▽^o) o(>ω<)o (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)
Ответитьi really enjoyed the sounds being enjoyed, along with music! though for me personally, the music could've been a little quieter. i really enjoy the "work sounds", like splashing water or toothbrush sounds
ОтветитьAwesome video! 🦄
ОтветитьI love it when you pop the head off and you can see the original colour of the pony. It's always such a contrast. Most of the Blossoms I own are in terrible condition. Is there something about her that just begs for kids to get a bit creative with the scissors and pen?
You always make re-hairing look so simple. It's my least favourite task. I go with the needle and dental floss method because I've yet to find a re-rooting tool that doesn't break after a couple of goes. I know this is a me thing, because almost everyone I know uses the tool without issue, so I'm probably being heavy-handed or coming in at a strange angle.
If I put peroxide on the eyes or cutie mark, it fades, right?
ОтветитьJust wondering if you are taking send ins yet? I have a mlp G1 I think that isn't in great shape, I got it from a thrift store. But if not because of covid I understand!
