ОтветитьHonestly, for my money, anything over 600 HP is wasting money on horsepower that most of us will never use. Buying a Koenigsegg is just showing off how much money you have. It's like one person buying a 10 bedroom 10 bathroom house just for that one person. 80% of the house will probably never be used.

McLaren has a lot of Lotus DNA with the engineers that have bled across those companies. Steering and general road feel is so completely refined in both of these brands.
ОтветитьUntil McLaren's build quality improves and is not rivalling to just beat Tesla in it's build quality I would pass on every vehicle when it comes to actually owning one. Now don't get me wrong, Ferrari isn't some god send of build quality. But at least I know that the suspension is probably bolted on tightly before I drive it off the dealership. And definitely wouldn't be buying new. McLaren's resell value is literally the worst of all luxury brands outside of like Jaguar.

I mean, pista is beautiful, elegant, fast and capable. McLaren is uglier, slower and less exciting. “I would take McLaren because I can use it’s whole performances” makes no sense to me.
Very sadly, Mr Harris has lost all credibility when it comes to McLaren. To pretend that a 600LT is usable on public roads any more than a Pista is, frankly, laughable. He has really become a caricature of a serious journalist and become horribly biased and prejudiced. Clearly, the Pista is a step way beyond the 600LT and it's predecessor, the Speciale - which was a mile ahead of anything else on the road. McLaren can only dream about making cars as good as Ferrari and Mr Harris should be honest enough to admit it.
Then to pretend that the SF90 owes anything to the Porsche 918 is, again, laughable - you may as well as give the credit to a Prius. Finally to choose a Scuderia over the Speciale which, for any serious publication was massively better than anything else, is just Harris being reactionary and stubborn. The Speciale was the first car to ever be UNANIMOUSLY voted COTY by EVO. To say the engine is anything other then superb goes against virtually EVERY engine award jury, for multiple years.
I get that, being small and making his living out of the internet "likes" (and therefore notoriety), he feels the need to be controversial, but please, anyone considering the cars, just go and drive one for a while. There really is, no contest.

ОтветитьPorsche does this with a car you can pick up from the dealership without notice! The McLaren is very comfortable and can be used on a track whereas the Ferrari is not where you want spend your day in traffic. It’s just not a daily driver .
