This seems like a must-have upgrade package for the Lynx
ОтветитьHi Marty, it looks like you installed the trail pedals and that perhaps the box was mislabeled? I ordered the biggie pedals and they do not have a cutout as shown. The cutout is supposed to help with clipping on trails, hence the name.
ОтветитьHello friend! Are such pedals sold on AliExpress?
ОтветитьПривет друг! На AliExpress такие педали продаются?👍👍👍
ОтветитьThe erides pedal hangars and the beidou pedal hangars from ewheels look the same. 🤔
ОтветитьExcellent bro... The video includes you performing the hardware mod and a basic review of riding afterwards... A def step from your previous videos!
ОтветитьMarty !! Put a damn Street tire on already !!! 😆 also, where’s that Commander Mini 😅 never seen it again after this Lynx came through 😂
ОтветитьYup, the cast stubs are not very good. And having the ability to lower the pedals is a nice option.
ОтветитьWhat is the pedal height lowered?
ОтветитьNice stuff! But it looks like you installed the pedals the other way around. Because the gap should be in front to match the jump pads when it closed.
ОтветитьI got both these. I scrapped the hangers cause the metal plate on the pedal had no clearance. Erides said the metal plate can be adjusted. So heads up if you dont want your hangers scrapped.
ОтветитьE-Rides makes great pedals , i ve have wolverines on my Nikola Plus since one year and i love them
ОтветитьWould a michelin pilot 2 or street 2 fit on this?
ОтветитьOooooooo this is what I wanna hear about. Cross my fingers no faults with my lynx.
ОтветитьTwo thoughts:
- why don’t euc designers allow user to adjust pedal height? Are they worried that people will screw up the balance? It seems like such an obvious customization option.
- why would raising heel and toe be a good thing? Beside flattening your foot arch, which isn’t appealing to me, if you want better leverage.. seems like raising the middle makes more sense.
Its interesting/notable that they gave up idea of having two parts to the pedals. One that fits with your wheel and a standard pedal that can then be then moved between wheels. Is that not a thing anymore?
ОтветитьI'm also loving my lynx so far. If you are looking more lynx accessories I really like the aftermarket light from the nylonove guys
ОтветитьFoot-plates, you cannot pedal an EUC 🙂
Ответитьbought my lynx from Afeez ...he's the heart of the industry :)....oh btw Im removing jump pad and using nylonove pads so this removes locked in issue
ОтветитьWhen those bolts come lose which they will over time and bouncing they'll come off and the rider will have a bad day... It would've been better to have a hook groove setup so the leverage isn't based solely on the bolts😢😮
Ответить👍
ОтветитьThanks Marty! Great vid as always…..
ОтветитьI’ve got the lowered hangers with Nylonove pedals and it feels pretty good so far. Can’t decide if I prefer the lowered height or not? Going to put a few hundred miles and swap back to compare. They do add stability but it feels less nimble and carvy in my opinion. Definitely adds some extra height for seated riding, which feels excellent now for a tall guy. Great video, Marty!
ОтветитьThe foot plates look like copy of Nylonove design. I know it is different material but raised pieces are the same and the shape with clearance cut for the jump pad. You installed the foot plates wrong way btw 😉
ОтветитьIt would be nice for you to explain how the friction system works compared to the ratcheting system.
ОтветитьWhats unfortunate is how far the newer wheels are getting from “average consumers” aka not everyone is retired or rich to be spending 4200$ on a wheel then another 1000 on things that shouldve been there at the time of purchase. I guess I can only speak for myself but not everybody got it like that.
Ответитьcan't you put the friction kit also on the patton? It sure looks that way
ОтветитьI like the stock pedal height so far - pedal clipping is a pet fear of mine. I'm going to add some grip tape to help prevent slipping. Gotta admit the e-Ride pedals are nice though. Wonder why LeaperKim can't get pedals right after so many tries...
ОтветитьI installed the lowering hangers a few days ago and on my first ride I immediately had issues with wobbles both on acceleration and braking. No issues previously. I’m going to try adjusting my pad setup, but if it continues I’ll be swapping back to the stock hangers.
ОтветитьCant wait ti get mine on monday... perfect timing video because I just bough the pedal lowering kit too.
ОтветитьTried the Patton for the first time yesterday and my Lynx is on its way, even when riding in 1° c in snowy and icy conditions I didn't find the pedals at all slippery, could it be my nubby shoes interlocking with the pedals or do you have to do trails and jumps to notice?
Ответитьsuch a awesome looking wheel, i'll get it 2-3 years after
ОтветитьIt's amazing that the EUC community is responding to such a niche and changing market with aftermarket pedals.
ОтветитьI got better pedals with screw in studs on my $800 Begode A2.
ОтветитьLeaperkim is so insanely awesome that they only make perfect wheels and nobody would ever need to modify one of their prodcuts... take these blasphemous pedals outta here! and HOW DARE YOU compare them to gotway pedals??? gotway could never hang with Leaperkim even if they do beat them at all the big races... let's go back to peaking the truth, the lynx is the faster, best suspension, longest range, highest quality, wheel ever and you should never try to "upgrade it"
