Take Command of Your PC Case Fans with CORSAIR

I have corsair 5000d rgb casae that comes with a commander core, 150i AIO and some corsair fans but I cant seem find a way to control the fan speed thru the iCue software, anyhelp?

Can I run two of these if I have more than six fans?

Still looking forward for Corsair iCUE to work in Linux...

I’m still having Pc case fan problems on custom built 5000d Corsair it’s so loud can’t change them on bios or iQue I’m just gonna have to deal with the noise until I find some kind of fix for it

Why do so many lack a setting for how quick the fan curve responds to temps? If you have a cpu that gets quick spikes I don't need i tto throttle up fast for a second then back down... Argust monitors had the best setting for this called 10 Second average... it prevented unwanted ramp ups...

what about linux how do we control your hardware on linux

Can anyone help, I updated to the 4.33.138 firmware just the other day, my fans suddenly speed up when my pc is idle, is anyone else getting this issue?

There were no other changes other than the software update, I wasn't playing games or running anything, if I leave the room for more than 5 minutes, and get back, I'll hear the fans spinning at around 1000+ rpm, I usually run them just at 600-700 since my room is not that warm.

I'm still waiting for the day corsair releases a controller that can house 12 fans.

Does the magnet mounting system on the commander core xt damage the mother board if it’s on the backing plate where the motherboard is held.

I mean iCue is already proprietary, why not combine rgb and rpm inside one connector? The wiring is always a mess.

I have a commander core that came with my H150i Corsair AIO cooler and a lighting node pro that came from a 3 fans bundle (120ml pro rgb). Issue is , i have an asus mobo and ICUE isn’t that great. I had times my mobo and gpu were displaying in icue some days it just disappeared. ArmouryCrate needs to be installed but yeah the 2 softwares clash and also in ICUE, the fans from the commander core will be displayed under the cooler’s settings. Just a heads-up to anyone that has the same set up.

I have the iCUE fan controller and 6 of the Corsair ML fans in my PC. Without the fan controller setup, it sounds like a jet engine. It is nearly silent now that it is setup. It gets slightly louder when gaming, but still fairly quiet for a 100% air cooled gaming PC.

This guy lost all credibility for me.

So yeah, got myself 5x corsair vents with RGB but didn't buy Commander PRO yet - so my question is: which one is better PRO vs CORE XT?

Corsair, really moving forward with your controllers. Core XT doesn't require users to plug fans in a particular order for the users set up and automatically recognises plugged in devices. The next thing I would like to see is a 12 port fan hub controller. I feel this can easily be done by having the single unit thicker and using two of the Core XT boards in one unit. BUT, have one of the boards rotated so the hub has power and RGB ports on each side. So on one side, bottom row power, top row RGB, other side bottom row RGB and top row Power. I am currently doing this with 2 x Commander Core XT units. I have one Core XT on the bottom and used double sided tape to stick the other Core XT on top but rotated so I have RGB and Power on both sides. It just makes it better for cable management as well, because you currently have put one cable on one side and the other cable on the other side. I feel this would be a great idea for consumers who have more than 6 fans who can then cable manage better. Just an idea for the future.

Duct taping a blender to your PC and pushing a baby into it is much more effective, the spinal fluid will act as new thermal paste which will drop temperatures remarkably.

I was about to shout SHILL!!! Then I noticed it was Corsair's channel so still shill but in a good way, I guess.
Anyhoo I have everything controlled by corsair including my water cooled cpu & gpu, it works great & you can save fan profiles & switch them at any time.

if you really want to take case to the next level you need a side panel made of LED's and act as a monitor. Just straight up a monitor on the side of your case

my h150i came broken, i cant choos the rgb , the cables are pluged to the lightning node core, who is pluged in the bottom of the motherboard, but it doesn't work; the lights flash red and turn at 100% of their speed, WHY?? IT COSTS 200 BUCKS

iCue software is causing my PC to freeze on boot using 4 sticks of DDR5 Dominator memory on an Asus Z690 Extreme motherboard. Asus says that it's a Corsair problem, Corsair says that it's an Asus problem and the problem is still there. I don't recommend wasting money on these things, they have good marketing but bad quality assurance and if you aren't lucky enough to get it working at first no one will care about you
