I haven't practiced in a hot minute. I've been needing this medicine, though I was worried about coming back to the mat. I wrote in my journal "it's easier to distract myself than try and practice gratitude and be with my mind and body this way". It's easier before coming on the mat. Funny thing is, when I got to the mat and followed this practice, it was easier to practice the gratitude and being present. Thank you, Adriene. As always, you're wonderful and you have me coming back.

ОтветитьI’m completely new to yoga. I’ve signed up for the Jan 30 Day programme. I came to the mat to begin Day 1, but because I live in Aotearoa/New Zealand I am ahead in timezone. So since I was all prepped to begin, I found this beginners one and did that. Thank you Adrienne for a wonderful beginning to this new journey. I’m so looking forward to Day 1 tomorrow 😅😊

ОтветитьFirst time trying Yoga. Nothing about this 'feels good'. My neck is sore from having to crane to look at the screen constantly. The isometric holds and slow pace are killing me.

ОтветитьI am 54 and throughout my life, I have done dancing, semi-professional, aerobic, and some other kinds of exercise.
I want to give yoga a try.
That was the second video I did, the first one still Adrienne and similar exercises for beginners.
I knew all of those figures and exercise but with yoga, it's obviously more relaxed and i found it really good and helped with my stress.
Not particularly hard but, as I mentioned, I am not new to planks, lunges and stretches 😂 and I know we have all different flexibilities.
I think someone can keep doing this, maybe with a few more beginner exercises put in, as an everyday yoga workout forever if they prefer.
I like your yoga videos only one thing is that I wish you not talk wayyyyy tooooooo much in videos so we could relax and sync in the flow of energy…

ОтветитьI didn't want to do my workout today, so I decided to try out some yoga. This was way harder than I expected it to be. I almost fainted when I'd have to have my head below my heart to rising up slowly. Probably just a me problem, but this also hurt! It definitely stretched a lot of things. Did I do something wrong? I'm so sore after this. Other than that, it was fun; the exercises were filled with new things I hadn't seen before. Maybe I'll keep trying these yoga exercises after my workout to cool down! <3

ОтветитьI like how your videos walk me through each step and remind me to adjust posture. I have done many of your 15 and 20 min videos and always appreciated the pace. . I had to stop for a while when my body wouldn't cooperate. Post surgery and and extensive phys therapy, today was my first 30 minute video. It felt good... And.. I was dripping sweat. Thanks for this video!
