2024 anyone? 1 million views..... DIAMOND
ОтветитьHow do you get the software? You practically trip over the piles of AOL cds that people use for drink coasters, hanging from fishing line on someone’s back porch, piles of them at the bottom of kids toy boxes, laying on the floor of Kmart and Walmart, but not Target, too snooty.
ОтветитьDo you want to make more money? Sure, we all do!
ОтветитьLibraries are still relevant! You can use the computer there! Don't put in private info.
ОтветитьHere come the dinosaurs
ОтветитьLove how we thought we were hot shit when America online came out with 56k where it took 20 minutes to load a page after searching for something and 2 hours to load a picture now it only takes a fraction of a second
ОтветитьDamn it’s 2023 and first time I know what AOL means 😢
ОтветитьBro how I wish I grew up in the 90’s
ОтветитьPaying for the Internet by the hour was similar to how we used to pay each month for a certain number of text messages!
ОтветитьI still have 726 AOL CD-Roms
ОтветитьI remember seeing those commercials a lot and it blew my 11 year old mind. Especially when I saw instant messaging and chat rooms from my dad friend's son we were staying the night. Our family finally got AOL December of 96. This when AOL really exploded in 96 and 97. Before they expanded capacity, it was really hard to get online when people were on with dial up.
ОтветитьThat thumbnail: Just two dudes, looking at "art" photos. Nothing to see here.
ОтветитьMS Windows 95 changed computing a great deal!
ОтветитьAll the things it can handle are impressive.. Then came Google.
It makes me wonder what the next AOL style failure will be.
“How long have you had it?”
“About a week.”
It would take a week just to connect to AOL on dialup back in the 90s
I heard there was a part they cut where he also introduced him to online pornography.
ОтветитьRemember the AOL chat rooms? Loved them!
ОтветитьI'm sold I want America online 😂
ОтветитьThe homoerotic undertones are palpable
ОтветитьFake News: No man in existence will not give away their sport tickets..
ОтветитьDude, you're getting a Dell!!!
ОтветитьThis commercial has Windows 3.1 or 3.11 with AOL
ОтветитьPoint, click and its there.... lmfao! Dude as a get early internet porn was so frustrating. Point, click and before the good stuff shows up it freezes.
ОтветитьI just called the 1-8000 number. Just beeps! I bet they will be back along with copper phone lines!😊
ОтветитьThe guy who is on the computer sounds like Jerry Seinfeld voice wise.
ОтветитьWow I was a kid when AoL came out xD Im old
ОтветитьAnd those kayaking buddies? Those are the people he meets to have anonymous gay sex with.
ОтветитьI met my husband of 21 years on Love@aol. Still going strong! Thank you aol ❤
ОтветитьJanuary 1991 is when i first logged on to AOL. Oregon State University.
Ответить3.5 floppy disk!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьSome really great PC games were devloped following this period.
Ответитьomg they were roommates
ОтветитьAOL stop lying those pages don't load that fast, especially in 1995. If you wanted to use a computer to do all that stuff it would take 10 hours alone.
ОтветитьSymbol of American global superiority. In 1995, in my country, we still watched tv by using UHF anthena. Only middle-upper class had pc in their house. Let alone internet.
ОтветитьFirst time I operate a computer was back in early 1992 in one of my first jobs, first time I enter the Internet was back in 1999 in an Internet Cafe.
ОтветитьMan nostalgia. Such a long time ago. Oh how far we have come.
ОтветитьI was 23 in '95. I remember seeing this commercial and thinking "who is going to believe all this stuff can be done on a computer!" And then, ten years of being a chat room addict, gosh time flies...
Ответить10 hours? Please. I've been on 5 hours so far today alone. I would have exhausted that in 1 day 🤣. Those were simpler times. I miss those days 😭😭😭
Ответить1995: Dino facts and flowers
2023: dead dog memes and dick pics
We've come such a long way.
I discovered porn on aol.
ОтветитьLol it's so funny too watch this now in 2023! The world has changed a lot in the past 30 years. Mostly because of the internet
ОтветитьYeah right, they did all of that with a 56k connection.😅😅
Ответитьnumber was busy. must have a lot of callers in 2023
ОтветитьI miss the 90s
Ответитьhe still hasnt learned to use the internet. now days these boomers getting scammed for all they got
ОтветитьHey Dan, what are you watching on your computer all day? We haven’t seen you in weeks.
Dan: uh….
I used to have AOL, it was great, met some people & even met my ex-wife on there as well
ОтветитьTHE ONLY PART OF THE 90'S I ENJOYED!
