Deno v1.31: package.json support

I really like the push for node compat, I can't wait for it to be over so we can get back to the main core Deno objectives. I missed the last few Office Hours, was the roadmap ever published?? I remember that being a topic during the first one

yeah, deno was created to solve design issues on nodejs
now it looks like we're bringing those issues to deno to support nodejs users LMAO

Why??? I want to love deno but all these updates just make things appears like a bloated version of node. These updates make things appear like they where not properly thought through from the beginning and features are just being added to try and increase adoption. Please kindly focus more on core features like making the runtime more performant and efficient. I will really love to see deno succeed.
