Too many things happening off-screen. These moments are pretty big within the confines of the story being told. Where this sort of worked in the first film to give the story some depth this tactic has been overly used in the past 20 years with other franchises. I said the same thing during the Star Wars Prequels. You cannot expect people, in general, to go and buy all the comics, games, books to get caught up on the finer story plot points. Then turn around and write it so if people got into the expanded universes certain points would make sense. This clearly didn't work in the new film. I, at the point, was a pretty big ID4 lore guy but I was left extremely confused on the first viewing of the 2nd film. Also, the tone. The tone of the first film felt semi-serious. This one almost seems Transformers-like, cartoon, campy. I felt like I was watching a made for sci/fi channel movie without the bad plugin effects.

The lore also in this movie doesn't add up very well. People are dead from the first film showing up. People that survived are dead in this one. People that were in the first film that were main characters ether are not mentioned at all or their cameos make no sense. All and all, this was an ok popcorn movie but talk about ruining the impact of the first film with this crap sequel.

Roland Emmerich is hit or miss but more misses in the 2000s than hits. Moonfall was just ID4 Resurgence with different people. It felt forced and like a really bad 50s sci/fi flick with really expensive effects. LIke, they took things that might have been from ID4's cutting room and rehashed it to fit Moonfall. It even ends the same, like we're going on other adventures, which are not gonna happen.

I am afraid to see what happens with Stargate...

The aliens, to my knowledge, can act without a queen. But I think there connection with one another row cut off when the queen dies. Causing them to be dazed and confused and something they rely on so much is suddenly taken away. But they get used to it and can reconnect when a new queen reaches out.

The writers of the second movie thinks technology evolves with a molten core. Wonder why the people on Hawaii, Japan, or other volcanic regions haven't discovered wormholes by now as they have the best access to the molten core?

The creatures themselves are designed unimaginatively. Harvesters, Xenomorphs, and Predators are all based on the humanoid body plan, as though humanlike intelligence arises only in humanoid organisms. Star Trek openly embraced this absurdity as canon, while ID4 made an effort to subvert it by using puppets rather than actors to portray the Harvesters. Their design aims for uncanny valley grotesqueness--- humanoid enough to express a sense of evil intent, but distorted enough to seem alien and unsettling. They could have gone the Starship Troopers route of using believable nonhumanoid body plans, but Harvesters were based on classic "gray alien" mythology, even incorporating the Roswell Incident, so it made sense to trade believability for familiarity.

Okay the thing is with that is their ships are huge and it doesn't seem like they have Point defense cannons or any defense except Shields if they lose Shields they're done for

I don’t think they made black holes because that would rip them apart. They most likely made worm holes or some sort of warp drive

If the first wave of harvesters is taken down by a computer technology that is made up of dos, while their systems are hundreds upon hundreds of years farther than us to the point where they could harvest a so-called black hole, then I would go ahead and say they aren't that much of a threat. It's only been 20 years and already our systems are not compatible with DOS any longer.

The most dangerous species would be the Aliens simply because they have acid for blood making them as deadly when they die, as well as when they are not dying. But they certainly have their threat, their nemesis- predators.

Harvesters may be the opposite side of panspermia coin. A K Type-2 civilization that is predatory , actively searching and destroying other civilizations and speices as a preemptive measure . To prevent another species or civilization from advancing and surpassing Harvestets. The Predatory Civilization hypothesis. It may explain absence of extra-terrestrial signals and markers , that real world scientists look for. Either other civilizations have been destroyed, or they are deliberately suppressing their own EM emissions, to hide from predation. Meaning we exist in intra-galactic jungle, where advanced civilizations plunder and destroy less developed ones, as means to insure their own survival.
If that is case, then we are fools in sending out EM signals , drawing attention to ourselves.

ive seen a real alien they kind of look like that they defiantly have those bio suits with the face cover but their way skinner white scaly skin
three claws and three toed raptor feet .but not hostile they will not engage in fights because of our microbiology i tired because he scared the hell out of me but ran. apparently he was just studding plants it looked like in the area at a state park and i mean federal state park deep in the woods he walked toward my friend . like this alien knew if i touched him he was in serious trouble like their was a galactic law he was not allowed to even convers with me he just ran as fast as he could right threw giant sticker bushes 0.0 !!!
