Uh, THE C8 IS MORE CAR THAN WHAT YOU THINK IT IS. With suspension upgrades and wheels, its on par and beyond PORSCHE folks. So far its only SPRINGS, LOWERED AND WHEELS and you have a car that is SUPERIOR to a 992 Carrera S ON TRACK. The chassis is there folks, and dont think this platform is substandard to any German, Italian or British mid engine car. GM gave you the basics, and you must do the rest. It also drops weight nicely with exhaust, wheel and brake changes for cheap.

Amazing times we are living in when the king of the 911's, a New Porche GT3 RS can't out Track a stock base Corvette.

Whenever I watch these videos, it starts me thinking about tracking my car. Bad idea when you're old, in my opinion. I remember from canyon carving on motorcycles many moons ago, you can get caught up in this. Heavily focused! Snapping in and out of tunnel vision! What fun it was.

Are the GT1 seats more comfortable for daily driving than the GT2 seats, if they are both in a 2LT?
I'm considering the LT3 but I can't choose GT1 seats and if they are more comfortable that's more important to me.

looks like the c8, surprisingly, has the advantage while braking and in the curves and is pretty much on equal terms on the straights. of course it could all be in the drivers.

What track times were you running?

Didn't your Corvette have the Performance Data Recorder? With all your statistics shown along with front video recording and Track overlay showing your lines? Showing over 1 lateral Gs if you have the race tires.

Vette interior by Play Skool, so cheap and busy. And the wheel off the enterprise starship lolol. Although, materials/fit/finish/ergonomics never been a Chevy strong suit.

For sure the Corvette has never been so close to the Porsche, but still is behind. And in this specific race if it would have been done serious the Porsche would blow up the Corvette as this is a GT3. The normal Carrera S 992 is still slightly ahead the C8. But as said. Is has never been so close.

Nice driving, great car. But can't help noticing it's kind of hard to overtake the Type R in the bends. Had to wait for the straight line... Then look how the same Type R is hustling the C8.

I really dont get why anyone would go to the track with an automatic car....
