ОтветитьGrew up in south Texas and was at the México border with my grandpa
ОтветитьGot all these dvds and watch them over and over
ОтветитьCan you just amagin what what the real Woodrow and gus would be like tough as old shoe leather and as mean as a conered rattlesnake sissy boys didn't last long in those days and the native Americans didn't know the meaning of mercy what they said about men in this time they saddled their own house and stomped their own snakes and very few lived to old age back then fifty was very old
ОтветитьWhere did the directors and writers go in Hollywood that could still make something like this but those times long gone now half the cowboys would be confused about what sex they are i often wonder what happened to the world we sure didn't grow up but Americans forgot what it took to build this country one nation under god first off we forgot about God and we're all going to regret it when hard times return and they will maybe it will wake Americans up because we don't have a snowballs chance in hell without our lord and Savior Jesus Christ watching over our once great country
Ответитьill never forget showing my friends this movie. We were all having tough times and one day all hanging out at one of my buddies houses and i saw this on netflix. I hadnt seen it since i was very young and wasnt even sure it was the movie i thought it was. We watched the whole series in one day and drank, laughed, cried, and all agreed it was the best piece of cinematic history we had ever seen. Every actor was worth their salt in this series. Pravo Lonesome Dove
ОтветитьThat storm scene though, "Glowin' ass cattle horns" 😂😂😂
ОтветитьWhat a great cast, terrible mistake picking John Voight to replace Tommy Lee Jones in the follow up. Kenny Rogers would have been a better pick.
ОтветитьThe full movie is over 6hrs long. I never found out where Lonesome Dove was located. Nearest i can figure is close to Laredo. Can anyone help?
ОтветитьThe best! Ever
ОтветитьThere's life lessons in all these characters, I recon back in the day I would be Augustus McCrae, Who would you relate back then, today ???
ОтветитьBest movie ever made. It shows the true meaning of friendship
ОтветитьLOVE! TRUTH!
Ответить💗
Ответить“I f-ing told you It’s RICK Schroder!”
ОтветитьOne of the best if not the best Western movie ever made.
ОтветитьThis will be my 4th time watching this movie and still from the moment i hear the theme song,i get excited!!!
ОтветитьWhat a phony show
ОтветитьThanks for your work and time making this and others ❤
ОтветитьI grew up with a guy named Jamie Brown. Jamie and I did so much in our 66 years as friends. We were exactly like Gus and Woodrow. We ran the Mexico whorehouses. Worked in the Texas oil fields. Married two Texas women and had two kids each. Drank a river of beer. Rode horses. Played rock and roll music, he on bass and me on drums. We had a ball in our time. I'm 69 and Jamie died at 66 in 2021 I miss him. But when I see this movie, which I've seen way too many times, I think of my great friend, Jamie Brown, Man of Sound. Esta muy bueno amigo. Sangre. Sancho Duro. One of the greatest movies ever made.
ОтветитьThe best movie ever made about true friendship n love
ОтветитьMaybe the best western ever made!
ОтветитьRead all four books many times over the years. I've never seen the movie until now. So far, it's pretty good
ОтветитьIm 61 yrs old. Ive watched pretty much every western ever made. Lonesome dove. By actors. By director. By producer. Is still best ever film ever made showing the romance of the west
ОтветитьBarry Corbin is so funny in this one... putting aside his self-assured normal character traits for an oafish deputy...
ОтветитьBest script ever!!!
ОтветитьThanks for posting - it must be 25 years since I watched LD and I still remember a lot of lines! “We dont rent pigs!”😂
ОтветитьI love the lonesome dove movies
ОтветитьEpic. An exceptionally well told story.
ОтветитьLONESOME DULL

ОтветитьYou have the entire series?
ОтветитьAn absolute masterpiece!
ОтветитьI’ll never forget as a young Buck in 89’ coming home after school doing my homework, eating dinner & sitting down with the fam to watch this when it 1st aired. Was hard to bring my family together like that but watching this movie sure did the trick! Can’t stand rude behavior in a man. Won’t tolerate it.
ОтветитьI lived the life late 70s , amazing how it didn’t change much .
ОтветитьI've seen this movie several times and have read the book three times.
I read the book after I had seen the movie.
It was really fun reading the book because I could put faces to the characters.
The book is WAY better.
I can't believe the racism! But that ŵàs the times. I appreciate the realism.!
ОтветитьMy favorite western.
ОтветитьGoing to make a coffee with a shot of whiskey. Sit down in my recliner and watch this
ОтветитьBroken trail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do that one! more!
