How to Find Missing Audio Files in FL Studio (EVEN If You Don’t Know Where They Are)

just in case the new FL studio update screwed anyone else (6/22/22) have it search your whole C drive the only way it found my folders which FL litertalty changed on its own. ive been using this software for over 10 years through many many updates and its never been such a struggle.

Damn I hope this works for me, my last laptop decided to stop working in the middle of a song then wouldn't work at all, had to get a new laptop and transfer everything. I hope the files are somewhere on my new laptop.

hey this was very helpful thank you, only 1 question if you can still help. I was able to locate most samples, but the audio files i previously re-eddited like vocals. you know when you slow the time and stuff, the saved version of that is still missing. how do i find that? thanks

great info, Are you able to migrate your entire FL software and engines, etc over to an external drive I've been trying to but nothing online as proven useful. Any advice?

I got A new pc but I saved all my projects on my usb as fl studio project files all my vocals are gone on every beat 🥲

My problem was I changed from onedrive to my hard drive and then it searched the onedrive folder and couldn't find it eventhough i had the right folder as a path. So I deleted the onedrive folder and it could find it again! :)

is anyone else having problems when opening a saved project and everything sounds completely different and is all out of sync ?
