You forgot to mention the ring of fire I think that there would be a lot of volcanic activity on the northern coast of Mu

When it comes to Western Colonization, I don't think it can realistically happen, because Mu is depicted a big trade bridge, akin to an oceanic Ottoman Empire. That means they are less likely to be technologically behind like the previously isolated Americas, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Polynesian islands of our own timeline. In fact, the lack of isolation for the Americas may be a game changer for how the Europeans end up dealing with them.

You need to make a part 2!

Also I could see a scenario where the US and USSR fight over Mu. It is in the middle of both countries(well not really), we could see wars, nuclear silos all of the continent.

Sure, it's interesting to wonder what WWII would look like with Mu, but could you imagine what the International Date Line would look like with Mu?

Your take on a continent in the Pacific is 100 times more interesting than the anime Ultramarine Magmel which had basically the same premise but did absolutely nothing interesting or entertaining with the idea lol. Don't bother watching it.

It is a great video!
But ...
'mu' never could exist ...
All continents start and end with the same consonant...
Asia.
Europe.
America
Africa
Antarctica
Mu
Not thought about that long enough

Well tbh in the Conan The Barbarian series by Robert E Howard, it also features Mu technically but not outright stated outside of one of his Solomon Kane stories, but it is heavily hinted at and is used as a reference for some of the strange out of place cultures during the Hyborian Age. With the mesoamerican-inspired people from Xuchotl who came from Old Kosala, which itself used to be a part of a proto-India region or country by the name of Vendyha in the series, hinting at them being Naacal refugees from Mu since Ancient India is where the Naacal tablets were said to be discovered at exactly.

also, the Americas might have gotten guns and other technologies that were invented in china through Chinese-Mu trade. That would make colonization interesting.

And then scientists discover the sunken continent of Zealandia, roughly where they said Mu was. A few years ago this was fantasy and now it's real (the continent, Queen Moo? maybe not so much) just wondering if this continent were to rise up, does that mean New Zealand gets to claim it? Yay for us! Lmao

I think your eurocentric idea of colonization would be wrong... Since native american peoples would not have 90% of their population wiped out, they'd be a continued world power. they would not become colonial subjects, and likely, no colonial powers would exist in the area (or native american peoples become the colonizers)... but surely, the christian/euro colonizers would not have a chance in hell with such a world power sitting in between.
