Filipino is not an ethenicity...Malayu or Malay is the ethinicity in the region... name Filipno was derive from the word Philippines. Philippines was derive fro the King if Spains name - King Philip. There is no such thing as real Filipino. Every Filipino is part or mixed.

FYI, FIlipinos are never, even if they say both parents are Filipino the fact that we were colonized but thre Spaniards for more than 300 years, Americans, Japanese and traded with Chinese and other neighboring countries will definitely not come up with Full Fiilipino. IN features maybe but not by blood.. what i also find is flawed is the title of the game? born and raised in the Philippines are Filipinos but if you are born outside the country thats a different citizenship already, if by blood could be but not by citizenship and if they acknowledge it as well like Bruno Mars he is one big celebrity who claimed his rootes. but the others mentioned like vanessa she only mentioned affiliate by blood and never said they are Filipino.

Different tribes from different ethnic backgrounds from different islands. How could you possibly guess what a pure Fillipina looks like? I watched several documentaries about the history of the Philippines and it seems like a true melting pot.

That Filipino mindset of half-half simply distorts the Philippine identity. Nowhere in the world where citizens of that country would describe people half-half other than the Philippines. The irony is- these people they shamelessly describe as half-half, have been born in the country, have lived in the Philippines for years, educated and embraced the Philippine culture, they have worked and paid taxes like any other citizens of the country, but most of all : they hold the Philippine passports. And yet they still describe them as half-half because of their looks and color of their skin.
The Philippines is a diverse country since the colony started.
These people who describe other Filipinos as half-half are plain I’ll-informed and clueless of the Philippine history.
That depicts also their lack of education…

My family in my knowledge got a lot of Chinese on one side, Spanish on the other and of course various Filipino ethnic mixes which include Malay, Polynesian, Indonesian whatever.
My sister did 23andme and there was Indian in there as well which we never knew and Italian. Italian? WWhhhaaa? My gramps said that they came from Cuba but he was a chronic liar so....IDK ...

Why you forgot that most of Filipinos has Chinese ancestry??? You can see if pure Chinese looking you have said Filipino. Why not includes that they also have Chinese blood even though they don't carry the Chinese surnames anymore. Pure Filipino has a look of southeast Asian looks, that's the original looks of a Filipino natives! Please include Ian Veneracion, Richard Gpmez, etc there are lots of foreign looking but Filipino.

Spaniards didn't really stay here but few of them (coz they're more focus to their other colony) so those only upper class filipinos are the only people who get along with the Spaniards that's why filipinos who's Spanish decent are minority!

—Chinese decent filipino, these people are all from the Chinese traders in pre colonial times (Chinese people are the biggest traders of Philippines since pre colonial times and other near countries) when the Spaniards came they didn't live the land coz they believed that they'll benefit to the Spaniards.

Filipinos are mixed race except if you were in indigenous communities. Example. I am Filipino but I have Spanish, Chinese, Malaysian and a little bit of Indian ancestry. Some Filipino here in UAE does not believe that I am Filipino, they thought I'm half I
South Asian because of my facial features and height.

These celebs have wikis in the Google and these guessers may already have knowledge before this video was taken. Why not feature random and unknown Filipinos with varying facial phenotypes for them to guess. That would be interesting to watch.

theres not a single 'filipino' look. If you compare me with my other filipino friends, you would think we're 3 different races. My friend for example is more chinese looking, my other friend looks more traditional 'filipino' and I've been told I look mixed
