I am so happy and grateful that I do a gratitude list every evening! I've developed this skill some years ago and I still do it. It's amazing!
I also found myself years ago the fact about "stop thinking, start doing". :) Still, I seem not to apply it all the time.
As a child I was good at ignoring the naysayers and people who insult/offend. But recently, I seem to be affected by such people. Something to work on.

I also need to work on the quality of my thoughts... some improvement this year, but still a long way to go...
I don't understand the first point about the character. I take it as having values and sticking to them, but for me "character" means something else.
I believe I am true to my words, own my actions, practise self love, and don't talk too much about myself (although, in front of some people I do - it is just their energy that makes me feel I am safe to do it). I also remind myself about death occassionally, but in the bad way. I need to turn it into motivation and inspiration to live life at its fullest. :)

"Stop thinking".... OMFG, I laughed so hard at that. Do people really believe that's possible? Can people stop thinking? Because I sure as fuck can't. It. Ain't. Gonna. Happen.

Also, this video is conveniently all-or-nothing. You either believe you're awful or you believe you're great. To prove you're not awful, compile the proof. Done! Yeah, except when you yourself regard all the proof you can compile as "meh". I doesn't matter what it is: your university degree; for one of the hardest programs in uni. The fact you got hired for jobs in your field; at some of the best firms. You've travelled the world. Done things most people haven't. ......None of it's bad. But, none of it is good enough. Nothing's ever good enough. So, the "you suck" lawyer always wins. I guess that's too tough a challenge for this "easy answer" video.

"Understand that you are a whole and complete person" That`s not stoicism. A better phrase to use as a STOIC : Stoicism is the mindset of being, existing, observing nature and fertilize the earth. The way this video or the commentator is explaining himself over what stoicism is, is partly true. But there`s no chance anyone actually learn anything from this beside a few good tips to work for maximum couple of weeks before its forgotten. Then these viewers claim to know stoicism and it just becomes injustifiably wrong.

Marcus Aurelius being such a great educator that still has mainstream appeal to this day, it tells you something about how bad of a seed Comodus must have been.

Kindness is not necessarily a virtue nor a sign of a strong character. Better to be temperate than kind, for the temperate are respected, whereas the kind are frequently seen as having a character that is nice, compromising and weak.
