I read some comment online that Istanbul kart as of June 1st 2023 has New rules for tourists.

Every ride on the Marmaray is now 21.9 TL. However far you go. Buses and trams 9.9 TL and no refunds for tourists or cheaper fares within a time limit. Can you verify if this is indeed the case? We are a family of 5 travelling to Istanbul in August, and if fares are not discounted on subsequent rides anymore than it would be pointless getting a card for each of us.

why you didn't use the prepaid pass Card... which gives access to public transportation for 1 or 3 kullanimlik pass or more ?! I don't know if those are per ride or per day pass?

hi. i have some questions regarding istanbulkart use:
1- does all the rides cost the same if i use bus/metro or ferry? regardless of the distance?
2- consequently a trip to the princes' island by ferry will cost the same if i start from besiktas or from eminomu?
3- i have read on a website that transferring from an island to another is free, is this info right?
4- i can't access the iett website to get informations about the ferries schedule. is there another site where i can find the schedules?
