We Couldn't Resist Binge Watching *MOON KNIGHT* Oscar Isaac Performance was Breathtaking

Along with Loki and Wandavision, Moonknight is my favorite Marvel show. Oscar Isaac kills it! The aesthetic and story are just so appealing to me. This show made me get into Moonknight. I knew nothing of him before this.

Let's forget for a moment that the two cops were working for Harrow. You are comparing them to American cops, who need warrants (mostly). In England there are about 800 reasons why cops can come into your house without one.

Moon Knight has been my favorite Marvel character for about 15 years now since I started reading his comics back in high school. The character is just so well written in so many ways and is an absolute badass. Very underrated character and absolutely deserves another season or a couple movies. We know he will be in The Midnight Sons whenever Marvel decides to bring in Ghost Rider, Blade and a few others but when that is, we have no idea as of now. Loved the reaction!

Man, I almost forgot how good Oscar Isaac is in this role. Now that Marvel's broken the seal on R-rated content, I can't wait to see what this character is allowed to do in a movie, especially the Jake Lockley persona. If the studio's smart, they'd go forward with Moon Knight as one of the franchise leads.

I REALLY liked Moon Knight. Even though Marvel has been doing their woke men-suck bullshit, I felt it was pretty evenly balanced in the Moon Knight show. I can only hope they continue it...and make Marc/Steven/Jake not a hapless ass that needs a woman to constantly save him. Ooo! Maybe he gets to save HER? Nah...that's obviously too much to ask!

I hope you guys watch "Werewolf By Night" next, or sometime soon (it should be upcoming in chronological order, as it was released in 2022). It's a standalone MCU "Marvel Special Presentation" like a short film, done in black & white (this Halloween they re-released it in color, but the black & white version should be watched in my opinion). It's incredible! In the comics, Werewolf By Night interacts with Moon Knight a lot, I believe Moon Knight was introduced in the Werewolf By Night comics (or was it the other way around?).

Uh, I think you need to rewatch Loki. Iy is hands down the best show. This one was good too, but not even close to the best.

Moon Knight is Marvels better version of Batman. Because of his several personalities he makes the ideal detective, each personality has a different skill and fighting style so he’s a master martial artist, and unlike Batman he’s able to take that final step and kill.

I think that it is time for you guys to watch doctor strange in the multiverse of madness.

so this show was a (not-exactly accurate) portrayal of a condition called "dissociative identity disorder" or DID. all those identities (alters) are real: they have names, ages, personalities, appearances, etc. and live in the "mind palace", but they occupy the same body as the host and front (take over the body) whenever there's a trigger. all of these alters are created by some traumatic event at some point during someone's childhood in order to protect the host in one way or another. marc is the original host; steven is called a "caregiver" who is responsible for marc's mental/emotional wellbeing, which is why he was created when marc was scared shitless after locking himself up in his room; jake lockley is the "protector", their role is to take on all of the emotional and/or physical harm the host body experiences aka abuse, it is heavily speculated that jake was born right as marc's mother started beating him with her belt in their room.

I really hope we get to see Marc/Stephen/Jake and Leyla again in MCU, maybe in next Avengers movie...I think Jake was yes the personality that those guys in Egypt were freaked out by in the Bourne like scenes, also in beating Harrow at the end but also when he discovered Dr Harrow was the fake and i read that Jake has a typical New York accent in the comics so thats him too...
