Hey dude hopefully you can answer, fab_settings is giving an error in Homefragment.kt, even tho i did everything right in fragment_home.xml !! It just isn’t finding the id

when coding, I ran into one issue: the loadSettings() method only works for the textViews, not for the ProgressBar. Let me give you some more detail:

I added this code (I basically copied it) in a second activity, not my mainActivity. I press the floatingActionButton, change my settings, including the seekBar, and go back. Now here is where I can observe my problem: All my TextViews are being update accordingly, but my progressBar remains at its original value. Only when I reload my Activity (going to mainActivity and back) it updates to the new value. Do you have an idea why the progressbar in particular doesn't update? Or is that just a bug that occurs in Java (I'm using Java instead of Kotilin)?
