I lived in Whitby back when the first goth weekend happened,almost was drafted in to help organise it,worked at uncle Phil’s shop( rest in peace Phil you legend) great times greatly missed

A very good piece of filmmaking very calm no camera movement, I would say it covered everything and has captured Whitby perfectly.

Absolutely brilliant! I had MANY "Goth" mates back in Yorkshire in the 80s - they didn't look like most of these guys though! I was more of a Rockerbilly back then but it's really amazing to see where the "movement/look/lifestyle?" has gone to. It seems to have morphed into a combination of the original Goths of the 80s (yes, I appreciate the history of it), steam punk and fancy dress. Much more advanced than our lot ever were. Having said that, I'm not sure if all of these guys would have made it into Spiders (club in Hull) on a Saturday night back in the 80s! Another great video. Cheers for posting. Appreciate it.

It seems like a pleasant festival to me, but I couldn't help but notice the disrespect towards the tombs...they should restrict access to that area to avoid this.

Delighted with this video. I will say yes to the opportunity to visit Whitby and enjoy the variety of Gothic beauty and Goth genres that Whitby attracts. I suggest to learn about the history of Whitby and respect the sacred sites of Whitby.

Another great video and it looked like an interesting weekend. I love seeing Whitby too the harbour, boats, cute streets brings back childhood memories for me, thank you again and will continue following.

Nicely filmed, felt like being there which I was. I saw the pumpkins I carved in the distance by the Tea Rooms at the bottom of the steps. Only been home a day and want to go back!
