How to Wear Lolita Fashion in Summer

i recommend thinking about washability - ill sweat no matter what i wear, so having underlayers that can absorb the sweat and then be easily washed is essential for me

Wear it for 15 minutes for backyard pictures, then change back to shorts and tank top

I've always dreaded going out in lolita in the summer (here in the southern US, it's just triple digits for weeks at a time) but your tips inspired me to try making some summer coords! Now I dont have to wait til autumn to feel like a cute lil poofball again 😫😫

Omg yesterday I was wearing lolita at a con, and even with a hoop skirt and chiffon blouse, I was sweating bullets in the 90-100 or so degree weather. another note was that my tea parties had fairly thin soles, so the heat from the asphalt was seeping through and nearly burning the bottom of my feet. D: I definitely recommend platforms in hotter weather. I live in a hot part of the country so a lot of these tips are second nature to me, but this was a very good and informative video!

It's actually more beneficial to cover your skin, rather than leave it bare, in the summer because the suns rays will warm you up quicker. It's a shame linen isn't a fabric used in Lolita because it's the best fabric for summer.
