where else can i buy a top? looking for one that is under 27’’
ОтветитьWould you say it goes low enough to treat it as a floor desk too?
Ответитьlink the price??
ОтветитьIt seems WAY more stable than the magnus pro tbh.
ОтветитьCan someone recommend a desk that doesn’t sit stand that is just or more stable
ОтветитьThis thing is a tank... looks like a bitch to assemble tho
ОтветитьThanks, Bolo Yeung! Nice table. Nice test.
ОтветитьHow tall are you? (for reference) Thanks
ОтветитьThe worktop on that makes it look more like a carpentry workbench than a computer/office desk lol, atleast you know it's never going to bend
Ответитьhellos Aaron good video would like to see the desk in its full set up stage I think it would help. I also would like to know in your opinion would it hold up a 49'' and a 24 '' monitor and a printer/fax/ scanter so that all in one, the pc as well. Would it all hold on the top of the desk and not brake down.
Ответитьyou said the butcher block is soft. Do you mean it dents easily? Thanks for posting.
ОтветитьImmensely helpful, you're the man
ОтветитьHey Aaron. Is the desk top come pre drilled? Or did you have to drill it and then put screws in?
Ответитьany update? how durable is your maple top? I'm looking into getting a maple or bamboo top? in my research i heard maple is the best hardwood for a standing desk
Ответитьnice tests you did at its full height. dang the desk is around $2k at their website, but might be worth it since I spend most of my time on the desk...
Ответитьhow many mounting holes/screws are there connecting the base to the top? I just finished building a big walnut dining room table top I plan to mount to this base but am going to use threaded inserts in the bottom of the table and hex bolts through the base to secure it rather than just screwing straight into the wood. Just wondering how many inserts/bolts I need to buy.
ОтветитьDo the feet slides/"floaty things" hurt its stability much? And how much do they help for repositioning?
ОтветитьHey Aaron, nice review. Now, that you’ve had the Apex Pro desk for a few months, are you happy with the standing height stability?
ОтветитьThanks for the video, Aaron, you helped me decide to get it =) How many people did you need to flip it after building it? Mine is a 72" pro max and it's heavy af!
ОтветитьNo experience with the Apex Pro, but I have the Vertex 4 leg and apparently it's as stable as the Apex Pro Max (which has crossbar; Vertex does not). Probably because of the solid beam vs the adjustable beam. My frame is super heavy. I'm on lament flooring with an 80"x36" walnut top and it barely moves. Carpet definitely makes stability worse, but I don't have carpet anymore (had it removed before I got the desk), so I have no way to know how it would compare (other than Desk Huas saying stability is Vertex 4 Leg > Apex Pro Max > Apex Pro > 2 leg desks).
ОтветитьYou should call this the “carpet stability” test video. Desks are never as stable on carpet, they never will be. You also didn’t test this desk at working height. The highest setting was literally up to your neck bro. Will you ever actually use the desk at that height? For carpet, this desk is remarkably stable.
ОтветитьThat might be as stable as you are going to get on a carpet and that high. Thanks for demonstrating. Always questioned if the deskhaus videos were real.
ОтветитьMost objective testing vid of them all, really appreciate the demo.
ОтветитьHow much did it cost?
ОтветитьIt’s on carpet so this demonstration contributes not much.
ОтветитьDo you have the link to your desk lamp? How do you like it? Great video, especially with the close up of the water. I think the desk is going to be plenty stable.
