Ma'am is there any chance of waiver of late fees for filing gstr3b return from July 17 since my friend had missed the deadline for submission of nil return.

I have already set-off my liabilities on 20th april for Marc 3B but didn't file due to non availability of DSC. But filed on 26th of April. Therefore late fees will not b applicable as per notification.

My question is that whether interest will b applicable as i already deposited tax on or before 20th of april and setoff my liability and submitted the return i.e no liability exist after 20th of aprl.
