Is that I am one of the earlier people to receive one of these VR headsets it does kind of make me mad when like you guys said that should’ve been figured out before it was even launched or received... Although it does not make me feel like I wish I would’ve waited, it does make me wish that they would’ve thought of these things a lot earlier... I knew it would b changing but hell not this soon... It makes me feel like they already had the idea but was too lazy to use it... with that said, I’m just happy to b a PSVR owner in general and I’m just going to stick with being happy with that lol! I'm an early PSVR adopter and I knew exactly what I was getting into. No bitterness over this - I'm glad they're improving it for future buyers

I've had psvr since January I have no problem with a revised version coming out I just wish they would redesign the move controllers with an added L3&R3 thumb sticks it's really necessary to advance the kind of games we can play in VR especially with skyrim teleporting in that game is going to be horrible 🤞hope they listen to the fans and add thumbsticks before skyrim releases🤞

Still FAR too many cables. Sent mine back after a month of using it. Sickness, low resolution, light coming in from around the nose area and seeing the edges of the lenses in my peripheral vision was just too annoying for me. Hopefully all these issues will be fixed on the psvr2

I have the older model and wish this was already added to my psvr would be great if I could trade it in for the new model

The bad news is.......early adopters who supported the system out of the gate are being mugged off. The good news is this is a tweak not an upgrade. The bad news is these tweaks are even necessary just a year after the system was launched. The good news is if your 4k tv doesn’t support hdr then you aren’t affected. Cable management and the placement of the headset jack are merely redesign features not real additions or improvements.
The bad news is Sony won’t release the hdr pass through box as a stand alone for current system owners, that’s naughty.

I don't regret buying the first model, all you suckers that waited for this one didn't get to play RE7 in VR the last 7-8 months, or our early xmas gift this year RE7 DLC Not A Hero and End of Zoe.

The stage of play where we're all at, at the moment with 4K and HDR, this is a pretty big upgrade, not a "revision" added the dreaded cable collection that we already have behind our tv cabinets, this IMO is a big upgrade.

This is a step in the right direction and I'm glad Sony is revising and improving it. I love my vr and playing Skyrim vr in it the controles work smoothly. What people need to get is it's still a testing phase what people hate like love what people play most they can tell this just by sales figures, target demographic, what people really want and there reactions to it. I'm glad they introduced it now because the next PlayStation with (I'm praying) new vr will iron out all the creases 4k resolution her and an incredible boost in graphics. If anyone hasn't already noticed vr takes up a lot of juice in fps, all the input calculations so it's fair to say ps4 altho great hinders vr's true potential. Whatever people say Sony got it right and played it safe. reactions, affordability, and all the data (games bought, time spent, motion feedback, money spent, customer feedback, patches, fixes) there's a lot learnt from this. Vr is incredible hands down and as soon as developers jump on board make the software and hardware more available nit picking the limitations and working around them there will be some great titles ahead. Looking forward to ace combat!

This version of the PSVR feels like it should have been the first version. The original one feels clunky and close to a prototype. I upgraded which included the new camera. The new camera allows me to set it better in a way I can switch from sitting to standing without fiddling with it each time. It also seems to track the headset lights better, but it may be an angle thing or maybe it's due to the shape, despite being on the same spot. The headset itself is so much better in small, but marked ways. Fist off having all the control on the visor is way more intuitive than having a dongle hanging about. The cable management is the best part though. The little box on the cable (not the processing unit) midway on the old one was easily damaged. Even with a new one I experienced image interruption at least twice in less than 30 minutes of gameplay. That is gone with the new one. Since part of the cable is no longer tucked into the visor, it feels lighter and offers less resistance. There is less chance for the need to readjust after turning your head or looking up. It is a marked improvement overall and I do advice anyone who enjoys PSVR often to upgrade once the price is at a comfortable range.

You need a 4k TV to play ps4,other wise would be better to throw dirt into your eyes.

They still made the wires permanant. SONY is a bunch of F*** tards for doing this. That and they won't sell the cables to replace them.

I just bought a ZVR2 and it still havs the double wires on the end that plug into the hdmi box
