What a poor review.🤣 Most people would disagree with you, the R8 has a whole host of great features that you fail to report on. Totally biased review, go back and start again. I'm a bit biased myself 😎 as I've got a 2021 Performance V10 and just come back from a two week road trip round Europe and the car performed amazingly, I agree on the practicality having moved over from a 2019 Porsche 911S (the latest model) previously owned a 991.1 4s and a Boxster S. I'm planning on moving back to Porsche and intend to get a GTS, in the meantime I'll enjoy that last of the naturally aspirated V10 powerplants, love that sound it's very intoxicating.👍

I think you could have added that the quattro only drives in fuel efficiency mode, aka only powers the front axle unless it needs to switch on the rear axle to provide additional grip offroad🤣


Actually serious question: Does it actually do that in efficiency mode? I know the quattro on my fathers A6 does this, that by default it powers the front axle, switching on the rear axle only when necessary. On my E90 with Xdrive, it runs 40 front to 60 rear in default. I recall that the FWD mode supposedly is more efficient than RWD / Full 4x4 engagement.

Question: with those 20”, how is the ride quality compared to 911 or GTR or DBS?
No doubt it shines on the toll road or highway, but seeing so many other roads are less than stellar, I’m a bit concern.
