Hi! Where would I order a top like that from?
Ответитьi always thought chicken bones would splinter and rip there intestines?
ОтветитьHello thanks a lot for this!
Have you already tried doing it with a sink ?
How do you cope with potential water infiltrations?
Great idea! And I LOVE the dog!
ОтветитьDon´t shouldn´t eat chicken btw because their bones are hollow and a piece of bone can lodge itself in their throat injuring them. Especially not cooked chicken.
ОтветитьIf it gets scratched anyway why not brush it first ?
ОтветитьWhat does cost matter when you're attempting to purchase a forever product? If you bought nothing buy commercial kitchen grade everything, then youve saved so much on job built cabinets, higher end counter tops, etc. You would save a ton of money just building a professional kitchen that is all go and no show.... Not really hating on your amazing concept. Its your money, do what you will.
ОтветитьI Liked and Subscribed because I LOVED this video.... right down to the GSD. This gave me hope that I can make this happen in my kitchen. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьWhere can I get the stainless steel you used from?
Ответитьwhat if you just glued some tool wrap to your counter?
ОтветитьToday you could have paid to have the counter installed for the same cost as the chicken quarter you paid Storm with to help you. 😁 The cost of chicken has gone insane.
ОтветитьGood video & thank you for telling people they will scratch! I am a sheet metal woker. We get so many calls about scratched stainless countertops. If you want a countertop to stick without releasing use a glue specifically made to adhere to metal. We use Loctite PL Premium for countertops all the time and do not have any release issues. Also recommend returning all exposed edges with 1/2" so people who run hand along edge of countertop do not get cut.
ОтветитьLike it,like people who have ideas and work hard
ОтветитьWhen your videos title mentions cheapness, it would be helpful if you provided a link or anything for more specific items.... such as the stainless steel. A number of people have already been ignored though.
ОтветитьI'm looking a little thicc after lockdown, too, lol.
ОтветитьHow much did you have to pay for the shell?
Ответитьhi , we enjoyed this video so much! can you please tell where you purchased the stainless steel counter peice?
ОтветитьI have some ideas for you. Don't use plywood as your base, tell the fabricator to use square or rectangular tubing to make the base, way stronger and will not sag or absorb water. Second, clean surface with lacquer thinner and use 2k clear coat to spray the top and sides with a spray gun and compressor, 2 coats with some reducer to help it flow like glass, let dry, and flow coat it, spraying 2 more coats, go crazy. Now to have scratch resistance, and you repair it like a car. Also if you're rich Tamco sells ultra hard clear coat for boats and cars, looks like glass but hard AF. Same formulation as what they originally used in Disneyland, unless I read that wrong
ОтветитьDIYer here. Thinking of doing this for a washer/dryer enclosure. Your video is not only informative and well edited, it's funny. And Storm is the star!
ОтветитьAre you Russell Crowe? Cuz that'd make alot of sense...
Ответитьwhat company did you use for the stainless steel? I'm currently remodeling my kitchen and almost complete with the kitchen island. 20 yrs ago I mentioned I wanted SS counters "like a commercial kitchen". Ofcourse I was laughed at. I still want them!
Any info would be greatly appreciated
Did you have to request metal fabricators to polish the bottom edges?
ОтветитьBeautiful!
ОтветитьYou look and even sound like the actor John C. Reilly. You probably hear that a lot.
ОтветитьRAW CHICKEN?!!! That seems like a bad idea.
Ответить🤣🤣🤣🤣excellent video
ОтветитьHow thick is the stainless steel
ОтветитьWhere did you get the steel sheet at?
ОтветитьSo fun to watch……
ОтветитьHave you ever done one of these with a cut out for a sink?
ОтветитьGreat vid; I think I’m gonna go with copper for my ct so I’m looking for great ideas like here; only complaint Storm is kinda of a jerk
ОтветитьIm a newbie baker, is stainless steel counter good for baking and is it more economical a.k.a cheaper?
Ответитьwhat part is expensive and cheap?
ОтветитьAwesome! Thanks 👍
ОтветитьWas your dog “Storm” helping you put it down? Right after you said thank you the dog barked “you’re welcome.” Lol
Ответитьhaha thx :)
ОтветитьThanks for the great idea. What gauge stainless steel did you use?
ОтветитьThat is a beauty!
ОтветитьLoved this video! Corny jokes, saving money AND a dog? I'm sold! 🤣
ОтветитьI LOVE your doggie!!!!
ОтветитьAround how much did you pay for the shell?
ОтветитьGreat work.Nice Idea I hope my husband can build it for me.Thank you. God bless you. I have a question, my counter is a bit different shaped with sink and will the sheet metal can make any shape?
ОтветитьHello congratulations for your creation I would have some information for you I would like to know on which website that I could buy the model of saw with the guide that you used? I find its really great for a clean and professional job!
Ответитьpractical as a cooking surface, but also very cold to touch.
Next time I’m going with wooden, butcher block style countertop for the island
Hey first video I came across, got me subscribed! I searched the entire comment section, I know I could find in another video probably but after you lay the counter into the cabinets how/where do you screw the counter to the cabinet. Do you screw from underneath? My dad gave me this idea for my first home I’m remodeling and it’s going to save me thousands, Thanks man!
