Hammond has always been a Land Rover fanatic.
ОтветитьYou can gurantee that vehicle is now a pile of tin worm !
ОтветитьNo salt on the roads in Australia, so no rust. My 1997 D1 has covered 300k, much of it on Outback tracks. Absolute reliability. Pity Land Rover lost the plot after the D1 and installed electronics to replace mechanical grunt.
I hope to meet you all on a track, somewhere. Beer, we must share beer around a campfire.
my 04 disco is a shit box . Looks nice rides nice , but has big problems like abs. check engine light. blower motor going on and off . window regulator problems . power set not working . plus mutch more . nice truck but not built to last . go for a ford instead
Ответитьil mio preferito land rover discovery series 2 complimenti per belisimo documentario !!!!!
ОтветитьIf you want a real review of these D2 td5’s ask someone who is qualified such as a mechanic or a panel beater, not a journalist that’s read a handbook an hour before. Then you’ll know where the problems are, how serious and how expensive to fix. If your useless in the workshop, stick with the new shiny ones. If you can tackle changing the Injector O rings etc. & maybe fitting a new rear chassis leg, then get one. They’re great cost effective cars to run despite what the keyboard warriors may say. All cars have their problems. Audi’s, BMW’s, Merc’s, etc. It’s the cost to fix that’s the issue.
ОтветитьI miss my Disco 1 but now enjoy my Disco 2.
