I agree with your criticism of “agent creep” and of the fact that you can`t know what agents you`ll be against. I think it should be more like LoL in that the player should be able to see the enemy agents selection, and the team to ban agents, maybe one or two. I also agree with your criticism of the map design, and I think you should have criticised the random spray. But I disagree with the rest.

The art style is beautiful and the character designs are good on average. The graphics are simple so everyone can run the game, although I wouldn`t mind if they were a bit better. You didn`t mention the animations, but they are great, miles ahead of those of CS, and, although that`s expected because Valorant is more recent, CS2 still has the same CSGo garbage animations, and you`re saying Valorant is just a complete CS downgrade... Also, if different agents had different movement speeds, that would create balancing issues around the shooting. That only works in Overwatch beacause the ttk is much higher in that game, it couldn`t possibily work in a CS like shooter.

Dota, Smite, Rocket League, age of Empires, starcraft, pvp in wow, hell even bloons tower defense battles do NOT let you change your character/civ/towers during the active round.

Then those people begin to flame you in normals , throw your games and generally be an annoying kid who thinks that he needs to be the best at everything and if you dont give him the Ace, he will report you , leave the game and requeue inmediately.

Valorant has no depth they try to make it random so that the gap between the casual and the competitive is lowered but then they try to make the game competitive???? Also all the abilities don’t need much skill to use so there is not much skill expression so competitive just comes down to the composition and usage of abilities which means it is basically a moba

Apart from hating the anti cheat. Youre kinda right. Vanguard and Faceit anticheat works the same way, they are both intrusive and you cant say you hate one over the other. But yea cs is the better game

I’m late to this but today I tried valorant for the first time, I played csgo for 2 years and then stopped playing for 6 months and wanted to try something new, I got in, it feels slow to play the characters suck there’s too many options and sht, maps suck, graphics suck, the aim is so much harder and more inconsistent than csgo, Very innacurate, to start a match it takes SO LONG WTF you pick a hero and then wait a year for the game to actually start, the settings suck, it took me so long to figure out how to change my crosshair the way I want it, sniper re zoom was off by default so once I shot the gun I was waiting like a dork for it to re zoom and then I got owned before I realised there’s a setting I had to toggle, the jiggle peeking is so slow line the characters feel so heavy and the abilities are overwhelming, there’s walls everywhere the smokes are ugly af why are there blocks people can place that I have to break to get to the bomb site?I played for 8 hours and I’m never touching that dogshit again

A lot of the points you made are true, others are questionable. I personally enjoy Valorant. I'm a fan of cartoonish art style games like fortnite. I agree with you 100% that this game is a complete rip-off off of csgo and overwatch. However, Valorant has game mechanics within it that makes it vastly different from csgo. I'm a game designer myself, and games like this take years and a lot of money to develop. Just because it's free to play, it doesn't mean effort wasn't put into it. The animations for characters make the game feel more realistic despite the cartoonish art style. This also takes time to do. Learn about game development and animation rigging with 3DS Max and Maya so you get more of an idea on what goes into making a game.

This game is actually one of the worst games i have ever played. I swear how do you copy an already good game and still fail. This game is so horrid I've never been more disappointed. The guns suck to use, the recoil is brain dead it literally is just rolling a D20 and never getting anything good. All the skins are way overpriced for something mediocre like at least siege 20 bucks will get you a bundle. Its just awful

I'm old but I'm glad to see more think this way and its just not me or my age.
I play games with my son and Val is probably the most unnatural feeling video game I ever played.
There is zero consistency in gun fights. Sometimes Ill just run around and 3 tap someone 40m with a spectre.
I believe Val has far too much RNG and something is off with either the netcode or some bs is going on with matchmaking to create that 50/50% that these companies love to do. The gun play in this game is all over the place and you go from doing something to doing nothing constantly (all ranks said similar). I noticed the servers seem to be picky on your ping and your experience can vastly change based on if the server is buffering nicely with you or not. Probably why so many complain about Val inconsistency that those topics usually are removed off vals forums. I do not think they will ever fix it or if they even care to. I am surprised people play this game competitively it must be extremely frustrating. I do hope its lan at least.
