Ответитьso far I like you cause in this video, the first i watch, you don't try to be a comedian and make the lesson appear to be a joke or laugh at what your saying. Thanks.
Ответитьso you use the uppercase I for the 'short" sound as in "it" and the lower case i for the 'long' sound as in eat?
ОтветитьHello Lucy!
What's the difference between corroborate and substantiate? Thank you in advance.
The best
ОтветитьCan i use these words in ilets writing?
ОтветитьWhat about a video on when, in English, we respond with the opposite of what might be considered logical?
Eg: Asking someone how their injured wrist is: "So, it didn't break, then?" - fluent English response: "I hope not" - non-fluent: "I hope so".
One presumes "didn't break" is the thing we're hoping, while the other is "break" is the thing we're hoping. It's very confusing for foreigners (and native speakers, when we think about it).
Could C2 be considered above native level at some point? Cuz I'm a native speaker but have not heard of a couple words in this video like corroborate or efface. Partly because I've never heard anyone using them or seen them in any literature I've read. They feel like those words you'd look up on a thesaurus to impress your professor when writing an essay or something.
ОтветитьI know some idiots came here to see Lucy
ОтветитьLa mayoría son verbos de origen latino...

ОтветитьJ'ai l'impression d'apprendre le français par un accent anglais ! Qu'elle similitude !
ОтветитьI like you, that was beneficial.
I'd love you to make a video on how we can use a good English level so that we can work online.
Maybe you have ideas on how to do it and how we can get experience as well.
I Really Love to watch English with Lucy Hey Lucy my English is not so fluent so please help me 😊
ОтветитьI rarely use C1/C2 or higher level verbs in my daily communication with other people, as it makes my listeners' understanding more difficult.
I try to use B1/B2 verbs for maximum outreach potential.
Very nice my teacher.
ОтветитьI am at B2 level ! Is there someday that I reach this level(C1 or C2)😢?
