Did they fix the Helms Deep style keep? When Valguero first dropped the mesh was so bad it made foundation placement in the redwood keep painful.

2nd I've actually built on that land bridge in the chalk mountains. Great spot, large plateau an loads of metal, crystal and obsidian :3

ik i’m late but all the metal nodes are on the mountains at white cliffs barely any at the bottom you can get like 1000 ingots from one mountain

Many of those spots seems to be fairly sparsed resources, as in there might be some near but you still have to travel quite a bit to collect large quantities.

On a server I play on I found the Redwood castle and set up camp there... Building some 12 high walls .. Lots of spots where you can't build though so it's a challenge. Wish I could do a creative mode and just go ham with an outline idea and replicate it in the server.

I built my base on the edge of the map in the redwoods. Was perfect for pvp. For pve it was ok lol. Loved the map btw, rag was still my favorite though
