Someone told me recently that it was against the law to have old student work on my drive. Is there a particular date that things need to be deleted? Like 7 months, etc? Or does that make sense at all?

Cloud storage is wonderful. But if you must use a flash drive, be sure to regularly back it up on your hard drive before you leave to go anywhere. Flash drives are easy to lose or damage as you found out.

Do you know if anyone has done something similar to this for OneDrive? Unfortanately, our school has moved away from using Google based storage and I miss all the features of my Google Drive.

I synchronized the downloads folder on my computer with google drive. but if I delete something in the downloads folder, the message comes up that it's also gonna be deleted on google drive. I only want to delete the file on the computer, i want it to remain in the cloud?...

How do i move files from mydrive to a shared drives?

gosh, i never comment on "attire" but i love your scalloped top so much! been looking for something like it but this design is very hard to find. oh and helpful video.

If there is a folder that I am working on I always number it with a ZERO. Folders with numbers are action, currently working folders. After I am done, I remove it. That way I always have them on top and I remove the unnecessary time spent looking for them. I work with multiple folders daily, so this might not work for everyone.

Hi I have a daycare and I would like to ask for some advice what is the easiest way and organize way to file my worksheet for kids, I am seeing a lot of free to download worksheet and curriculum for kids, should I just print it and organize it to binder with clear sheets and once I need it I can just pull it and make a copies or I will just save it in the google drive and just print it whenever I needed it. Also I am applying for preschool educator would it be more better to have my daily lessons activities/worksheets on a file binder or like I said if it is better to just save it to google drive and print when needed to make copies for the kids. I don't know what to do. Please help. Thank you

This is an awesome video, I really love the colour coordination and the simple folder structure used here. At times it can be difficult to remain focused, and to setup a file system which is optimal and efficient that we lose the idea of simplicity. Thanks for bringing me back down to earth! lol

Hi, I'm not a Teacher still found it helpful as I have been a dedicated saver of everything on a hard drive or USB, then backing up on Google Drive. This is where I am confused between Google Drive and Computer. Is everything on the Computer that was backed up or is it accessed directly from my computer?

Ending a sentence with a preposition is a disease here in America.

As a teacher, you ended so many of your sentences with prepositions it's very disturbing.

It's embarrassing how much money we spend on education in America yet we can't even correctly speak our native language.

With most people I just cringe and let it ride.

But since you are actually a teacher educating our youth and you have such an amazing following, I beg you to adjust your verbiage so as to set the best example for your adult followers and your students.

Please don't take this as an attack or a "hater" comment.

I bring this to your attention not to disparage your efforts but so you can be the best possible educator.

Please help me slow the spread of this linguistic disease that is running rampant in America.

The problem with Google Drive is this: You can't copy folders on the online version and you can't copy documents on the desktop version

One thing I can’t figure out - how do I immediately save. New PDF to my drive? Like if I buy a PDF from TPT and open it in Chrome or a PDF reader, I can’t figure out how to save it to my Google drive so I’ve been saving to my hard drive and then uploading to a Google. Is there a faster way?
