i remapped using antimicrox but it only works on the tesktop of windows itself, the game overrides the keymap profile :( how do i fix?

Please is there a way to assign extra buttons? I have pc controller which on steam says Xbox controller and it has 3 extra buttons but they don't show up so i can't assign them to any keyboard key.

your title is wrong, it is not map a controller to keyboard, it is keyboard to map to controller.

I'm playing Half Life 2 (via Steam obviously) using an xbox gamepad. I'm following the instructions in the hope of mapping my flashlight, but it's not working. What am I missing? Thanks. EDIT: nm, I had to go into my steam gamespecific setting and remap there.

How to map keys on windows 10... proceeds to use steam... yeah, a 3rd party software... thats NOT using windows 10 at all.

You can actually bind space to any button on your controller with AntiMicro, this way you can use your normal jump still and have a button for stalls. Have fun ;)

Now I can play Minecraft Java with a controller!

If you want this to work for any other app in the desktop (not just steam games), follow her instructions with desktop configuration instead of guide button chord configuration. Works for me.
