Build an ecommerce website with Odoo

Great presentation

Huge issues when choosing Odoo for an e-commerce platform :
1. Search in header
2. Product specifications (attributes) that do not create variants
3. Extra field in backend (as a simple CMS) without having to copy past each time and add new blocks on front end. Think about big inventory websites..!
4. Poor design tempaltes choices.
5. URL issues with unique IDs placed automatically into it. (poor SEO) and no URLs structure that reflects the categories.
6. No breadcrumb on shop page for multi-categories websites

-> Fix this and you are number 1.

How can you export and import products with the variants? Is there a template for this?

This is a brilliant presentation. I would love to learn how to edit the storefronts - my site will allow for sellers - how do I edit their individual storefronts?

Can’t believe there is not section that allows you to put the product specs and then pulls it into a block. 🤔 Maybe we can create an extra field, a notes type area, then call that data into that block on the front end?

Is this the paid or free version of Odoo ?

Maybe a idee to have a mobile editor aswel. most people ar on mobile these days

hi, how can I edit the python code? In developer mode I have only been able to edit the XML code

Option "visible / hidden on mobile" works well. How to hide some blocks on website if user use a desktop/laptop?

Please How make the adjustments on the product page just for one product not all pages products ?
